      Both.

       

      Play Super Metroid first, though, just for the sake of canon chronology. The two have completely different approaches to the same concept, however. SM is completely void of dialogue and plays itself out through visual and musical effects(and pull it off brilliantly, might I add), while Fusion's plot revolves around conversations between Samus and Adam.
