Night Shine

I am extremely conflicted over a story I wrote. It's very dark, and I loathe the message behind it, but...I think it might be the best-written work of prose I've ever created. What should I do...?

  Finish it, I actually published my fanfic but it didn't get good reactions, so make sure it's okay before you put it out there. People were just saying, it's not original, I tell them that it was supposed to be MLD inspired.. ugh.. I have to make another one so people wont think it's just because I'm a bad writer.

  It's a short fable and a one-shot, as opposed to the other stories I have that are full-length stories with developed, interesting characters. I hate this story so much because it was intended as a social commentary against my normal views.
