Eeyup, this isn't a joke. I am seriously going to leave this site. Now don't worry, I've left my Skype username and last.fm username on my profile, so you can still contact me if you want. Lately, this site doesn't feel like what it used to be. And now that half of the regs on the metal thread are gone, it just doesn't feel the same. If you need me I'll be kicking it on last.fm, but until then, adios.

Well I haven't writen anything in months, so here I go.

There he stands, like he's all game
Here she comes, that mindless dame
Falling for his tricks yet again
She hasn't learned from the other "men"
Together and blessed with a curse
I hope you both end up in a hearse
    She deserves to be hanged
    He deserves to be hanged
Now you can both hang together forever
But you ignorance won't end ever
Because seeing the both you decaying and lifeless
Is the only way I can smile and not feel any hatefulness

Eeyup that's about it for now.

I made a list on RYM of top ten greatest albums of the 80's (in my opinion).

So what do you guys think? Do you like or does it disapoint you? Was there something I left out that you like?

"Well it's about time you reviewed something relevant." Yes, yes it is.

For once, I'm actually reviewing an album that I really like, by a band I'm familiar with. (Even though I hate their newer stuff. Seriously, I've tried listening to Come Clarity at least five times now and I still think it fucking sucks.) But anyways, this is definantly my favorite album by In Flames. It's got that brutal raw edge of early Swedish death metal mixed with this sorta melodic sound and even a few acoustic pieces. The guitar is killer, not just killer but fucking killer. It's all downtuned and distorted, it just screams badass. And then theirs the vocals, oh man. The vocals on this album are better than the vocals on any other In Flames album (and the vocals on their newer stuff are shitty).

My favorite song of this 90's masterpiece would either be Clad in Shadows or In Flames. They're both killer tracks, but I can say the same for every song of this album. The acoustic pieces are excellent and done very well. The way they're done makes it fit in with the rest of the song, fucking briliant. To date, this is In Flames' heaviest sounding album.

If you're looking to get into In Flames' music, I highly recommend that you pick this album up. Pick this one up before any of the others. You will not regret it, trust me. This album is amazing, and it's the best album In Flames has ever made.

    Track listing:

    1. Behind Space
    2. Clad in Shadows
    3. Lunar Strain
    4. Starforsaken
    5. Dreamscape
    6. Everlost (Part I)
    7. Everlost (Part II)
    8. Hargalaten
    9. In Flames
    10. Upon an Oaken Throne
    11. In Flames (1993 Promo Version)

Yes, I'm making a Dream Theater review, just don't expect me to make more. This the only Dream Theater album I have and I honestly have no idea why I have it. I heard "Pull Me Under" then I got the whole album. Well that escelated kinda quickly.

Images and Words has this bipolar sound, it can be heavy at times and really soft at other times. Not in the Opeth kinda way though, Opeth is much heavier and less synthier (Is that even a word?).

"Pull Me Under" is one hell of a song. My favorite part of the song is the part with the palm muting, it just sounds kinda thrashy and I really like it. Although, I hate the way it ends. It's all loud and heavy and then, BOOM, silence.

"Another Day" is kinda cheesy. In a sorta happy kinda way. It reminds me of a Journey song for some reason. It's a sorta cheesy ballad like song with a nice solo at the end, fucking weird but still a nice song. I'm not going to lie, this album has it's cheesy moments. Like on "Take the Time", the first two minutes of the song are filled with weird funky shit. The rest of the song is great though.

My favorite song of this album is "Under a Glass Moon". It sounds kinda like something off "...And Justice for All" mixed with a semi-power metal sound. The only song I don't like is "Wait for Sleep". I find it boring and annoying as fuck. Boo me all you want, I don't give a shit.

Overall, I like this album. It's a bit on the quirky side but I still like it. Except for "Wait for Sleep", I hate that song. I hate Mike Portnoy too. He sued his ex-bandmates, that's pretty fucking low class. I won't deny the fact that he did an excelent job drumming on this album though.

    Track Listing:
    1. Pull Me Under

    2. Another Day
    3. Take the Time
    4. Surrounded
    5. Metropolis, Pt. 1: The Miracle and the Sleeper
    6. Under a Glass Moon
    7. Wait for Sleep
    8. Learning to Live

My friend keeps on telling me that I'm too negative, and that I should "stop being so pessimistic". First of all, I'm not being overly negative. Second, why the f*** would I be happy all the time? Not everything in life is worth being happy about, there are things in life that make me angry, sad, annoyed, anxious, etc.

So depression, I don't have it. Do some people at school think I have it? Yes, they do. I'll admit though, I might have had it in the past. About a year ago, I was picked on A LOT and on top of that, I had no friends. I still remember wanting to either kill myself or kill a bunch of people then commit suicide. Now I have a few friends, and I'm not suicidal anymore.

I don't like talking to other people, I'm not trying to sound like a jerk, I just prefer peace and quiet. My grandma told me "You should be more friendly and greeting of people. It looks nice". Well, I don't like to interact with people, I'm just not that kind of person. I've also met plenty of stupid people that I have no desire in being friends with. Then, there are the people who are straight up a-holes, who annoy the s*** out of me. I really don't want to associate myself either group, I'm fine with having a couple of good friends and that's about it. I really hate being in a large group of people, it really annoys me. Like I said before, I just like being alone in the quiet and I hate being around a lot of people. It makes me feel all icky and weird.

OK so today at school I went to my history teacher's class during recess (we call it nutrition) to hang out there, like I always do. And so I go use the computer to use Spotify, so I can listen to music. Then I started blasting some Deicide and this one kid that also hangs around here says "What is this? It sounds Satanic." I responded with "Yea, it's a song about killing Jesus.". He then called me a Satanist but I responded with "No, I'm an atheist. I don't worship any deity." He said again "He's a Satinist. This guy listens songs about the Devil". I was kinda pissed off, so I then called him a "f*cking Christian sheep" and walked out off the classroom. Well, he was a rap fan and I've had some crappy experainces with other rap fans in the past. I'm not saying all rap fans are d-bags like the one I mentioned above and hopefully I don't sound like a total metal elitist. Although, I admit to having some elitist moments in the past.

Oh yea and before that, he stole my soda. OK, so there was this kid next to him selling sodas. I bought one and then he snatched it, opened it, took a sip and then gave it to me. I wasn't happy so I wanted money back and lucky for me I got my money back (I had to pull it out of his hand). But, I didn't get the soda... DAMN...

I know this would be the perfext time for this:

but is was a COKE NOT A PEPSI!
All I wanted was a Coke that I paid for but he stole it from me!

Hey everypony, I'm going to start writting awful poetry again. Yay, how exciting! Stay tuned for some of the worst poems you'll probably ever read in your entier lifetime. By the way, my stuff may be awful but it's not cheesy. Just putting that out there.

I'm going to kick off my first review with a band that I don't listen to a lot. In fact, this is the only power metal album I'll ever review.
First off, I would like to say that this isn't a "wimpy" sounding album. I'd say it's equally as heavy as something like Mercyful Fate. Except, faster and more uplifting. So it's heavy, and not some wimpy ass album, like most power metal is said to be.
The songs are very well made. The guitar has a nice tone, it's fast as hell and like I said before, heavy.
The vocals are kinda cheesy at times but overall, they're amazing. I think the only time they're REALLY cheesy is on the song "A Tale That Wasn't Right". In fact the song as a whole is fucking cheesy, it's like one of those songs you would here at the end of an 80's movie. Especially at a part near the very end where the protagonist is walking in to the sunset or something cheesy like that. That being said, it's still a good song. Cheesy as fuck, but still good.
My favorite song of this album would have to be "I'm Alive". I find it to be the most aggressive song on the whole album. The intro to it reminds me of "Aces High" by Iron Maiden though. I fucking swear, they're identical. "A Little Time" and "Future World" are also great. Even if the part with the buzer in "Future World" is weird. Why would you use that in a metal song? "Halloween" is an epic track, the solo is killer.

    Track Listing:
    1. Initiation
    2. I'm Alive
    3. A Little Time
    4. Twilight of the Gods
    5. A Tale That Wasn't Right
    6. Future World
    7. Halloween
    8. Follow the Sign

So what did you guys think of my first review? Post some feedback. I doubt many people are going to read this but whatever. And no I don't give number ratings, they're just irrelevant. I either like an album or not.

I went to the mall today, with my mom and my little brother. I brought my wallet with a shitload of money in it, and I ended up not buying anything. I wanted to buy a band t-shirt or some patches and buttons but, they didn't have any. They had plenty of sports jerseys and Obey shirts, multiple stores that sell them but no band shirts (of bands that I like). I ordered a band shirt EXACTLY two weeks ago from today and it hasen't came in the mail. WTF? My brother got charged for it, they said it would take 2-14 days and it hasen't came in the mail. I want my fucking shirt Dx

They didn't have much MLP stuff either, I wanted to buy a blind bag pony but they didn't have any. There weren't any trading card either. My little brother was also being really annoying, he kept on whining because he wanted a puzzle. Eventully he did get his puzzle, so he did shut up for a while. Then, we finally went home.

I knew from the very start that I should've just stayed home but, I got optimistic. I have too much money that I've been saving up from my daily allowence and I want to blow it on something. Who knew that two dollars a day could add up to so much?
