Why does everyone think I'm a music elitist?

I am not an elitist, basically the exact opposite really. So, would that make me an inferiorist? Not sure what the right word would be. I don't even think that is a word.

Spanish has been fairly painful to learn, and I'm only in Spanish 1. I dunno, but I think I would have found it more enjoyable to learn French or Chinese for some reason.
