    Hope you're doing well. Miss the astronomy chats we use to do on here.

      Hey Phosphor! I hope your Jupiter Opposition Day is better than mine; the rain here's been insane these past two months! And the mosquitoes.

      I'm doing alright. I've been doing some self discovery these past few months. I've learned that the whole "internet dependency" thing isn't so much the problem so much as a symptom of one of the actual problems. I'm not seeing a therapist over it, but at least I'm aware of it and have some coping methods. There's this other skeleton too, but that one's really going to take some time to address.

      Anyways, glad to see you're still here! I might pop in every now and again on the weekends.

    Some thin clouds showed up and cut my imaging session short. I did manage to get a 10 minute exposure of the Orion Nebula.

    @Celtore, did you send those clouds my direction? :P

      lol, yep. It took me three tries to unlock ridley because I kept B-downing through platforms as yoshi because I didn't know he could drop through them :P

      That's not too weird, it's basically a non-cooled water cooler. I'd recommend against doing it with those bottles because the plastics breaking down could potentially contaminate the fluid, but what the heck do I know?

      We're back to the regularly scheduled forecast for at least the next 2 nights: clouds, rain and snow. It looks like the weekend might be really nice though, so I suppose I can wait :)

    Having a modded DSLR payed off. Deep Red sensitivity is crucial here. Enjoy everypony!  :D

      Nice! You too, eh? I absolutely love it. I got into it because of an elective I took in my last year of software development. I'm so glad my college offered it; I would have never discovered how much fun it is otherwise and probably would have ended up with some useless liberal arts course like interpersonal group dynamics. :scoots:

      Tonight was a bit on the cold side (very frostbite inducing), but hot chocolate is a pretty good remedy for that! Here's a picture of my telescope:
