This is taken from my post on the "5 things you love about your favourite pony" thread. Read and understand where my bottomless love for her comes from. Oh, and Dimitri, this isn't me saying I'm the best fan, so no need to come in here and prove yourself. You won the contest, remember?

Fluttershy... 1: Her kind, forgiving, altogether soft hearted nature. Fluttershy, being the element of kindness, obviously will show more kindness then others, but it goes farther than that. What Fluttershy's personality and nature represent are the very foundation of love and tolerance, or the moral of the show in general. Take her most recent episode "Keep Calm and Flutter On" for example. While every other of the mane 6 had abandoned all hope in Discord, Fluttershy's nature wouldn't allow it. Fluttershy's personality wasn't built to judge or to hate. It was built to accept and to love, to show compassion and understanding, and to forgive. For the record, that would make her a very good wife. 2: Her relatability. Now maybe this sounds a bit cliche, but I feel like I can relate to Fluttershy. All my life I've been walked on top of and taken advantage of. Trying to do nice things and never treated with the same respect. Take "Putting Your Hoof Down" for example. It actually represented how much Ponyville is really like our world, our society. The shopkeeper selling the cherries was going to take advantage of Fluttershy, make her overpay for a couple pieces of fruit. Fluttershy was going to take the deal anyway because her will isn't strong enough to deal with something like that. Now, I often find myself relating to that. My often weak will has me giving in to bullies or people who want to take advantage of my sensitive nature. 3: Her humanity. Fluttershy is just as human in personality as any other pony, in my eyes, maybe more. Her fear is my greatest indicator to that. Every human is born with fear and lives with fear. Fluttershy simply takes what every human already posses and magnifies it. On a regular basis she's radiating human emotions such as fear and doubt. Take "Hurricane Fluttershy" for example. Just like in humans, her fear and doubt in herself weighed her down, held her back. She was afraid of what other would think of her and what they would say, yet another thing that all humans experience even if they don't admit it. Fluttershy's humanity is genuinely attractive to me. Her magnified human emotions make her, once again, easy to relate to and makes it hard not to notice her personality. 4: Her charm. Fluttershy is honestly what I think to be the most charming character in the show. When she isn't plagued with fear or doubt, she lives a carefree life and only cares about those around her. Her facial expressions rarely show anger, but rather happiness and her smile makes my heart melt every time. Her personality makes her undeniable to me, the way she accepts everyone she meets and does her best to make them happy before herself is utterly uplifting. With the way Angel Bunny often mistreats her with disrespect and anger, you'd expect for her to be angry and self resentful all the time. No, her natural caring and forgiveness is what makes Angel the perfect pet for her, Any other pony would have blown their top with him around. Not to mention that squee.... 5: Her beauty. Fluttershy, in my opinion, is the pinnacle of beauty, inner and outer. On the outside, she radiates grace and majesty. She flies smoothly and softly, admiring the world. For example, in the episode "The Cutie Mark Chronicles", Fluttershy is simply in awe when she reaches the ground. The way she flies so softly with the butterflies and her gentle voice put me in just as much awe as she was in. The way she moves, the way she looks, she way she acts, all make me undeniably attracted to her. Now her inner beauty... oh where do I even start? As I mentioned before, her sheer compassion, love, and caring for everything makes her beautiful. Not only that though, her negative emotions make her delectable as well. Her fear, doubt, etc. all make her who she is. Her kind spirit and infinite forgiveness make her personality shine, and this reflects onto her outer self. Am I best Fluttershy fan yet?
