      yeah, horror is definitely a mileage may vary genre. some people are scared of some things, others not so much. I found XCOM: Enemy Unknown pretty unnerving to be honest, and that's not even a horror game.

      Not really. To me, jumpscares are more like dick jokes in comedy movies. They're good every now and then but overuse tends to detract from the experience. The thing with me with Five Nights at Freddy's though is that I thought the animatronics were hilarious (namely how Chica looked like it had a rod rammed into its pooper), to tell you the truth. But yeah, it did convey an atmosphere of uneasiness, but I felt it relied too much on the jumpscaring. I enjoy horror, but I guess I like s...

      Wouldn't say original since the idea's been around since the Sega days (Night Trap, specifically), rather, a rarely used formula. I honestly found myself dissatisfied with it.
