There's the thing, though - I was never confident, either. In fact, I used to be downright...well, Fluttershy. I basically just "faked" looking confident, and over time, I actually *became* confident. Basically, "fake it till you make it". As stupid as it sounds, it kind of works. This here's the video that made me try it:

I am not really the most confident around the ladies either but I am confident in most other matters but that wasn't always the case. Confidence is more difficult for some people that much is true but I think that most people can become confident if they are willing to take small calculated risks to gradually build up their confidence. I will get there though and so will you, but only if you stop being so down on yourself.
