    I noticed that a lot of people list members of the forums on their profile that they are friends with or that they think are cool or whatever, and I kinda want to do that but I feel like people would get offended if they got left out. And knowing me, I would probably forget tons of people lol.

      That's pretty much why I never bother trying to make a list in those 'Which forum members do you respect/want to brohoof/etc.' threads. Better to keep a generic "You're ALL awesome :D" response than risk hurting people's feelings, you know?

      It's nicer to see someone actually name you personally.

      Ehh I suppose, but either it's 'spend an hour @Mentioning every single person on your friends list' or say something like "I'm too lazy to list out all my friends, but rest assured you're not excluded" before listing only one or two of the people who've really made an impact on you lately...which is pretty much what I do.
