  1. Oh, I love me some monster girls. Especially Arachne, Lamia, and Slime Anyway, we don't even know if it's a show yet. A while back, they implied it would be a movie (they might've said it outright, I don't remember), and as far as I know, there's been nothing to indicate that is a show. Anyway, yet more support for the fact that it most likely won't be MLP canon. Plenty of shows have non-canon movies :/
  2. Nice to be able to just take a five minute break in your gaming, order a pizza, and get back to it, all without leaving the comfort of your chair, but I don't really care for several reasons: 1. Pizza Hut pizza is not worth the cardboard box it comes in. 2. I don't have an Xbox, nor do I ever intend to get one. 3. I can already do that from my computer, which I'm on a lot anyway, and I can order from a better place (not by much, though). 4. I can walk a few blocks and get kick ass pizza for about half the price of Pizza Hut. Sadly, they don't do delivery.
  3. Methinks I found my theme song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ujzp9ffPwPM

Today I learned that I am Chaotic Evil with that test.

      Which test?

  4. It's certainly closer than BronyCon; a friend and I might be road-tripping it, but I doubt it. Neither of our financial lives are in good shape :/
  5. But the other game doesn't have anything that could penetrate said disc hole. Although, if two discs rubbed against each other, I guess it would kinda count.
  6. Aw shit son, you gay! It is indeed an adjective, it's just misused frequently. Personally, I think it's funny to act like you take it seriously. As in stuff like: "Wait, so that game likes to have sex with games of the same gender? I didn't know that... How does a video game have sex anyway?"
  7. Let's see... Nicki Minaj attractive? Fuck no. One Direction or Kasabian? Not sure who Kasabian is, but they're probably better than One Direction. Also, how does not liking One Direction make you gay? I would think it'd be the other way around... RPGs or CoD? I think I'd be "super mega ultra gay to the max" on this one. Magic: the Gathering? Let's just say that on Friday and Saturday, I will be spending ~36 hours or so playing Magic. Yu-Gi-Oh and Pokemon TCG? I'd still play both if I had enough money for multiple card games, that shit's expensive. I still play Yu-Gi-Oh DS games. Play Pokemon: not as much as I used to, but I do try to keep up with new generations as they come out. PS2? I play PC, DS and PS2. PS2 just has so many great RPGs, I don't think I'll ever get rid of it. Relationships? I've had a few, so I guess that makes me less gay. Stood up for male friends? When necessary. Facebook? I have one. Gotta keep up with friends in different states somehow. Also great for scheduling get togethers. Transparent fishing wire? Wait, so I'm gay because I know it exists? Okay... According to people at your school, I'm gayer than Viscra watching Village People music videos while drinking an Appletini in Parisian cafe. And I'm probably even gayer for knowing enough to even use that analogy
  8. Sure it wasn't as good when Comedy Central got it, but it was still okay.
  9. I think it's bad because science: http://mlpforums.com/topic/27888-pop-music-scientifically-proven-to-suck/ (the thread is tongue-in-cheek, by the way) A lot of the stuff played on the radio right now is annoying as hell. Of course, looking back at what was on the radio when I was younger, most of that sucked, too. I can remember a few songs I like, and a few more that I feel nostalgic about, but obviously the entire music scene was not made up of those few songs; there's a ton of shit I forgot about because I didn't like it. As for personal reasons that I dislike most of the modern mainstream is that I like more technical stuff, with deeper lyrics than you can find in today's mainstream, and autotune annoys the hell out of me. Also, what's with all the non-rap artists making non-rap songs and then feature rappers in them for no reason? Anyway, I think @@Fhaolan said it best: old music seems better because we only remember the really good stuff.
  10. Coheed and Cambria are pretty fucking awesome
  11. Locked out of my apartment, and my roommates are such deep sleepers that they can't hear me banging on the door :(

  12. Forgive me for not reading past the first few pages. I don't have long before I need to leave again :/ All of those are true. However, your claim, which I assume is implied in number 6 (that we should not eat meat because it is cruel) is where I'd have to disagree. Humans are little more than animals. Evolution gave us intelligence as opposed to strength, speed, or good senses. Natural selection put us on top of the food chain. It is merely nature that we eat meat. A lion is hungry, so it kills something and eats it. A bear is hungry so it kills something and eats it (or eats berries, because they're omnivorous). A dolphin is hungry, so it kills something and eats it. All of these cause stress and pain to the prey animal (likely more than human slaughter does, too, because we don't actively hunt livestock down. I will admit that some of the conditions they are kept in are quite bad, though) A human is hungry, so it kills something and eats it. Just because we can survive solely off of plants doesn't mean we are obligated too. Our digestive system is built to eat both plants and animals, so there is nothing wrong with doing either. Also, obligatory (I apologize if this has been posted already)
  13. The obvious solution is to kill half the population.
  14. Spoiler contains critiquing, so if you don't want to see it, don't open it:
  15. Not sure why I read all of that, but I did My sister was big into fashion a year or two ago, so I knew most of this already, but it was still somewhat interesting. I'm a guy, though, so all I really care about is that it's comfortable and doesn't look stupid. I mostly wear blacks and greys, also some whites and browns, and a little green, but the color of my shirt is about as far as I go, fashionwise.
  16. Title should be "top 5 most intimidating enemy groups in semi-modern FPS's". Also, Half-Life isn't exactly what I'd call a modern game
  17. You show more restraint than I do, I would've talked back to the coach, and probably would've posted much more inflammatory stuff on the page :/ Anyway, it's always great to have friends like that
  18. Well, this is certainly a good place to meet bronies. I think I can speak for all the staff when I say welcome, and we're all glad you're here
  19. Using Comic Sans should be a warnable offense. Anyway, I do remember you, and it's always great to see an old face return.
  20. I'm not really a fan of any stripes.

Good. Stripes can be such a bland design!

  21. I'm a pretty big nerd, especially by your standards. I watch a lot of cartoons and anime, and talk about them on the internet (I only have one friend IRL who are into stuff like that as I am). I play a lot of video games, none of them "casual". I watch more hentai than I do normal porn (hooray 4chan). I can spend hours reading wikipedia articles, just learning for the sake of learning. My favorite subject is science, specifically astro, particle and quantum physics, and some of the weirder and more dangerous parts of chemistry. Recently, I've been into genetics, and a few other areas of biology, mostly viruses and single cell organisms. Also, since we're posting code, first thing I found on my computer is this simple RNG I made a few years ago for a programming class: I don't know a lot of python. I know HTML, CSS, and am learning other web languages, such as PHP and SQL. I'm a Comp Sci major, though I might change to Info Tech or Physics. Although, I want to eventually become a game designer, and Comp Sci would probably be the best for that. I've never seen why people don't like the word, or act like being a nerd is a bad thing.
  22. My favorite is by far xkcd, though recently,y it hasn't been as good as it used to be :/ I kind of keep up with Ctrl-Alt-Del. I just go there and read all the new comics once or twice a month. Same with Penny Arcade, Pro MTG Online, and Noshyfts, but not as often. I keep up with Perry Bible Fellowship, but it's updated so infrequently, "keeping up" doesn't mean much. I used to read Megatokyo, but I got bored somewhere in the 800's. I read a few hundred pages of Questionable Content one day, and it was good, but I never really went back to keep reading. I also used to read 8-bit theater, but that also got a bit boring. I believe I stopped a little after the Dragoon showed up. I used to read UG Madness, but it ended awhile back, and now the website is gone and the comics are nowhere to be found
  23. It really depends. Some things are portrayed much better with live action, such as drama, romance, that sort of thing. The expressions and body language that only comes from real actors is what makes the movie/show really moving. Amazing artists can pull it off in animation, though. For example, No-face in Spirited Away. His face is no more than a few simple shapes, but he shows an astounding amount of emotion, all without talking. Because Miyazaki is just awesome like that. Almost anything else can work either way. Comedy is usually completely dialogue or situation based, so all you need is a good writer and good VAs. Animation helps if it's surreal humor, but live action surreal humor can be great as well (see: Monty Python). Action can go both ways as well, and can even be better animated, because you don't have to suspend disbelief as much as when it's live action. Things that have objects and characters with immense amounts of flashy power (see: a lot of shonen anime) almost always works better animated. Live action guy with a sword that shoots giant lasers that can destroys a city? Lame. Animated guy who can do the same thing? Badass. It's why whenever a comic/cartoon/manga/anime with huge power scales is made into a live action movie/series, the super crazy powerful stuff is always toned down, or left out entirely (see: every live action movie made from a comic or manga ever).
