  1. Whenever I glance sideways at your name, I see "Octavia's Celluloid" XD

Lol! Sometimes I see yours as Evulshy... XP

  2. What Master Blade said. When you first hear about the Uncertainty Principle, you think "oh yeah, that makes sense", but it's not until you dive into quantum physics that you realize how important it is. Quantum physics is all about probabilities. Also, I absolutely love it And if you really want your mind blown, look up the Double Slit Experiment and some of it's variations. In a nutshell, matter doesn't actually exist until someone looks at it. Everything is just bits of probability of what and where particles could be if they DID exist, until, like I said, someone looks at it. It sounds weird, impossible even, but the math and experiments back it up.
  3. Made me smile to see an avatar I made in the birthday box. Happy birthday, man :)

I have civ5 but haven't played it yet. I've played a good amount of civ3, and it's okay. I've played the living shit out of Alpha Centauri (it's an amazing game, go buy it for $6 on gog.com), and it remains my favorite 4x game, and indeed my favorite strategy game. If anybody has played any of these, how do they compare to civ5?
  5. I meant it, it does have good graphics. It's all anime, obviously, but it does look great. I crossed it out because saying a rape game looks good might rub some people the wrong way. But actually, it does have great graphics.
  6. This isn't even that bad. Ever heard of RapeLay? It's a Japanese game where you rape this women, and then rape her daughters. Good graphics, too.
  7. This is, of course, assuming that the change is permanent, and I think it's very possible it won't be. I trust the writers to either make this a temporary change and thus avoid these problems, or if Hasbro is forcing them to make it permanent, that they'll make it work. I'll hold off judgement until after the finale, though. Also, problems posting this? I got 3 notifications about it.
  8. I was hoping somebody else would get it That has to be one of my favorite Bill Cosby bits. WHERE DID THEY GET THE CHOCOLATE CAAAAAAKE??!?!
  9. I remember another user (Sepharos, I think was his name?) doing some interviews, and I loved reading those. Nice to see someone else restarting it, I've always loved reading and taking interviews
  10. A good idea, but there are probably some inconsistencies with prices. Anybody love how a bunch of little kids are allowed to go skydiv- oh, nevermind. Problem was adressed. Also Spike is a true businessman. Get somebody else to do the work and try to keep the money XD
  11. WOO!! First line is a Bill Cosby reference And now Spike knows the tragedy of ruined cake. It is a sting I've felt many a time I've never seen a Spike episode I really liked. They've been enjoyable, but never really great, IMO. I doubt this one will wow me :/ You know Owlicious was telepathically saying "shape the fuck up or I'll eat you, little bunny. Who's the predator here?" Also, I don't remember Tanks propeller being magic powered before. Confirmation now?
  12. Anybody on MTGO? I just got it. Name is MrMelt. I don't have much yet, just a few janky standard decks I made for fun, but I mostly made the account to mess with casual decks and practice drafting, not serious play.
  13. God, metal shavings in the eye is horrible. Happened to me a few weeks ago when I was drilling some holes in a piece of aluminum Anyway, I generally try to avoid stupid things that result in injury, but back in elementary and middle school, I was much less cautious. And of course, shit happens. Sprained my ankle in elementary, which wouldn't have been a big deal if I hadn't sprained the other one a week later while the first was still weak and messed up Numerous cuts and bruises from when my friends and I would fight with wooden swords, PVC spears and shields made of fencing wire and duct tape. A few construction related injuries, mostly cuts and stuff. But there was one time when I was jumping down off a ledge and smacked my forehead into a large wooden beam I didn't see, and then fell on concrete. That really sucked. I've cut myself a ton of times while chopping vegetables at work. These days, most of my pain is self inflicted. I'm not emo and cut myself or anything, just masochistic.
  14. You have no idea -_-
  15. Well, it would be about 5/10 because I don't like sigs with a picture and a bunch of lines of text, but I like Boulevard of Broken Dreams, so 7/10.
  16. Not familiar enough with Gurren Lagann for that one, so here's Pinkie Pie.
  17. Sexual lubricant. Not joking. They call that particular type of lube "lotion" in Japan. Anyway, Jeopardy is the only one I watch regularly. I watch Cash Cab from time to time, but not as often. I only really like quiz shows, because I can play along with them, and they make me feel smart.
  18. Well, I finally took matters into my own hands and replaced our 8 year old router. Now we're getting download speeds ~15x faster than our old ones. And my dad said we didn't need a new one...

No, just technologically deficient and very, very cheap.

  20. I'm 21, born in 1991. 1. Yes. Not sure how long ago it was, but it was a long time ago. 2. Yes, got our first internet access when I was pretty young, like <=5. 3. Oklahoma City Bombing 4. Yeah, my dad has a TV he bought in college that he finally decided to replace a few years ago. 5. It's weird to read about stuff I lived through in a history book. Sadam, Clinton, 9/11, Katrina, I remember all of it quite well. 6. My dad only uses one because he needs it for work. 7. Ahahahahaha, I used to have so many of those. Up until about 6th or 7th grade, that's all we had. USB drives weren't widespread and fairly expensive, CDRWs were totally impractical for frequent rewritting. Also: 8. A few years ago, I think. 9. Magic School Bus was/is the shit. 10. Kinda, probably. How dated do they look to you?
  21. gog.com FINALLY has the expansion for Alpha Centauri, and it comes with the game, so if you already had it, you just download the updater. Oh happy day :D

  22. CD definitely would've been my choice for ascension to adminhood. Now instead of having to bother admins to get approval for all his good ideas, he can just do them. Awesome Although, I dislike Zoop's implication that Sectionals are a bad thing
  23. Well, now several people has said its better when watched for a second time, so I'll hold off my rant about how bad I thought it was until I watch it again.
