I've been playing Pokemon Black, and it's different from the previous Pokemon games I've played. This made me think, what are some other entries in a series where the people who worked on it tried something new instead of just making another standard entry? I'm talking about mainline entries, not spin-offs. Otherwise, this topic would go on forever.

As you might know, last week, Make Your Mark was confirmed to have ended after Chapter 6. But, all might not be lost for 3D G5 MLP. A prominent YouTuber who has asked the G5 staff questions says he was told by two MLP officials that they're considering making a new 3D G5 series. -

To put that rating in perspective, Sid the Science Kid and Atomic Betty both have a 5.5 rating on IMDB. I'm not going to pretend MYM is a masterpiece, but there’s no way it's only slightly better than Sid the Science Kid or Atomic Betty. -

Would you call chapters 4-6 an improvement over chapters 1-3?

If Chapter 6 is really the end, what do you think of Make Your Mark overall? Was it a worthy follow-up to ANG and FiM? I ask this because the YouTube MLP reviewers (Dr. Wolf, Mad Munchkin, etc) don't like G5 very much.
