  1. I think I remember someone suggesting this as a badge a whiles back. So this is pretty neat to finally see implemented. Also I just think that it's a pretty cool idea in general to have an element of harmony badge anyways.
  2. I don't care much for Deadpool as a character, and I don't really want him in the MUC. Especially when they are other characters I would rather see make it there instead. Also no, neither Loki, or Thanos are the best MCU villain. That title still belongs to Killmonger. Citizen Kane is ok, but not one of my favorite movies. Tangled is an ok movie, but the series is a vast improvement in like every way.
  3. I would have to go with Frozen. The main reason would be that while I do like how the characters and everything looks in CGI, however I really really like how they look in the 2D art style that can be found on some of the merchandise, and I kinda think they look a bit better there if we are being honest. Also if Frozen was traditionally animated, and still managed to become the massive phenomenon it became, maybe it could have lead to a revival of traditionally animated films in theaters.
  4. I hope they are right, because a random holiday special isn't really what I would want to be the EQG finale, even if I do enjoy it, which I most likely will.
  5. As small as it was, I think that might have been the thing that excited me most about the episode. Ever since Rainbow Rocks back in 2014, I have been wanting to see Sunset make an appearance in the show, even if it was just a small cameo. So after all these years, to finally see Sunset appear in the main show, it just felt really good, and I know that I'm not the only one who felt this way. It was like icing on the cake to have a much desired fan request finally make it into the show during its finale, and after watching I had to go back and watch the song on youtube to make sure I didn't imagine it. It was just really great, and touches like this are why I love the episode.
  6. I really like this new rank. It's very pretty. Once we are able to change ranks, I might change mine to Kirin.
  7. This is how I feel when they are talking about shipping. Like for instance when talking about whether or not AppleDash is canon or not. Instead of just being honest and saying that they had Applejack and Rainbow Dash be in a relationship, they would say they would rather leave it up to the viewer's imagination. It ultimately comes a cross as them wanting to have their cake and eat it too when it comes to LGBT representation. They want to get the positive attention that would come across with that, but implying that AJ and RD are a thing, but don't really want to deal with homophobic backlash. It kinda feels a bit cowardly in a way there, NGL.
  8. Given how cutie marks have been presented in the show, I really don't think this is possible like at all. Once you get your cutie mark, it stays with you forever.
  9. And now here I am. The real final episode of MLP: FiM. It's been a long ride, but definitely one that I am glad to have been a part of. For a while now, I have been wanting the final episode to be an individual slice of life one instead of an two part episode, and for it to focus on wrapping things up, and so this ended up being kinda what I actually wanted for a finale to be like. I have to say that I really liked this episode a lot. The episode handled the subject of friendship drifting apart really well, and made me feel very nostalgic towards to the show. The wrap around segment of Twilight having a student who also didn't believe in the importance of friendship was something that I found to be quite clever. I also found it clever that the final shot of the show was the book that was opened at the very begging of the show closing. I also really enjoyed the song here, it was catchy, and sentimental, and I feel did a great job at helping wrap things up on a good note. I also really enjoyed to see Sunset Shimmer get a cameo in the song. Like she is now canon to the show, and I really like that. I also found that it was cute that we saw Lyra and Bon Bon's wedding in the newspaper in the beginning of the episode, and that it was implied Applejack and Rainbow Dash are a couple. I also liked seeing what everyone was up to in the future. Overall I loved this episode and found it to be a nice way to end the series.
  10. So I finally got to see the last two part episode of the entire series. Despite it being leaked quite a while back, I have tried my hardest to avoid spoilers, and for the most part I was successful. After waiting patiently to see it, I have to say that I though that The Ending of the End was pretty good. There was a lot that I had to like about it. For instance I have been a fan of the whole dynamic between Chrysalis, Cozy, and Tirek and like always it was fun to see in these episodes. The stakes were appropriately high for a finale and there was some pretty great tension here, as well as some pretty fun action sequences. While the twist of Discord pretending to be Grogar might come across as being weird, I did like how it challenged the beliefs of the mane 6 and what they were truly capable of, which is a conflict I felt appropriate to be in a finale. Cozy, Tirek, and Chrysalis diving the unicorns, pegasi, and earth ponies was also a conflict that I liked in this episode. It allowed for the whole theme of the show about friendship and comradery to really come to play here. Especially when it came to the student six banding everyone together and pulling an Avengers Endgame with all of the allies the mane 6 made over the years, including Tempest which I thought was pretty cool. I especially liked how the episode ended with the mane 6 and Spike at Pony Joe's reference the ending of the first season finale. There was enough call backs and allusions to past episodes, and touching sentimental moments, to make me feel that this was a great final two parter.
  11. It's hard to believe that it is almost over. I first started watching midway through season 2 all the way back in 2012, and I really can't believe that it's been this long. I have had my ups and down with the show and fandom over the years, but I am glad I got to experience this ride. The show lead to my first real venture into the world of fandoms and social media (through these very forums) and for that I will be grateful. I have had a lot of fun with the show, and while I will be a little sad to no longer see new episodes of it, I will always appreciate the time I spent with it.
  12. Aww! This seapony rank is pretty cute. I like it.
  13. Out of these episodes, I would have to say that my favorites would be Rarity Investigates and The Hearths Warming Club. For Rarity Investigates the first thing I really enjoy would be the character dynamic between Rainbow Dash and Rarity. They surprisingly work really well together, and its a shame that the show rarely explored this. The other main thing the episode has going for it would be its aesthetic. It heavily leans into the whole Film Noir style, and it creates a fun and unique atmosphere. Overall it is a pretty fun and unique episode, even if the twist wasn't too surprising. For The Hearths Warming Club, I just really enjoyed how it portrayed Gallus's character. It really helped to make him a much more interesting character, and I wish we could have gotten more episodes like this focusing on the other members of the student six.
  14. My favorite of these episodes would have to be Canterlot Boutique and Fame and Misfortune. Canterlot Boutique is one the episodes that really showcases Rarity at her best. I really enjoy the Rules of Rarity song, and all of its reprises. I also really enjoyed the conflict between art and business and feel that it did a great job at pushing Rarity to her limits. I also found it refreshing that Sassy Sandals didn't turn out to be evil. To me, Fame and Misfortune is one of the funniest episodes in the show. I got a really kick out of all the meta references. And to be honest, given the amount of drama I have had to deal with being in this fandom, I did find the episode itself to be a little cathartic, if I'm to be completely honest. I also really liked the song in here as well.
  15. 1. Magical Mystery Cure - The episode that really got me invested in the show, has some of the best songs in the show, and has a really emotional ending. 2. The Perfect Pear- One of the show's all time best, and I have nothing else to say about that everyone else haven't said already 3. Between Dark and Dawn - The Princess episode we all wanted. Another one of my favorites. 4. Stranger Than Fanfiction - I just find this to be a pretty fun episode. 5. Do Princesses Dream of Magical Sheep- I found all the dreamscape elements to be pretty fun, and I actually was invested in Luna's struggle. A bit rushed, but I still enjoy this episode. 6. Fall Weather Friends- One of the first episodes that I distinctly remember enjoying. It's fun, and one of the first season's best. 7. The Mean 6- Has some funny moments, and I do like it, but it could have been more interesting. 8. Baby Cakes- Meh, not really remarkable or all that memorable. 9. Simple Ways- One of my least favorite episodes in the entire show. It's just really boring. Applejewel is pretty cool though.
  16. This was definitely a great episode. I would even go as far as say this is one the funniest episodes we have gotten in quite a while. I really enjoyed the mocumentary style here, and felt that it really helped give this episode a unique identity. I ended up enjoying this episode a lot more than I initially expected. This definitely is one of the best of the season, if I am being perfectly honest here.
  17. Honestly I have to agree with you. That was also one of the first thoughts I had when I heard of the comic continuation of FiM. For what an EQG continuation would entail, well I would pretty much want something along the lines of the fanfiction you are currently writing. Addressing the magical leak that was teased at the end of Legend of Everfree, and dealing with the girls graduating and Sunset having to chose between living in the human world or going back to Equestria, is something I feel would make a good final arc for the EQG franchise.
  18. Wow, looks like a lot of unpopular episodes are here. Spike at Your Service, Bridal Gossip, Honest Apple, and Non Compete Claus? Sheesh this really is a weak list of episodes. But out of the options I would have to say that my favorite would have to be The Saddle Row Review, with Sweet and Elite and Pinkie Apple Pie being the best episodes here that aren't it.
  19. I thought that this was a cute episode. While The Last Crusade may initially seem like it would have been a better sendoff to the CMC compared to this episode, I do feel that this is a good way to end their character arcs as well. Mainly in that given that they are the show's residential child characters, it would make sense that for a final episode for them to focus on growing up. Especially given that them wanting to get their cutie marks also involved them being impatient to grow up. So I see this working as a final episode for them. I rather liked the designs of the CMC as adults, and I found the new song to be pretty fun. I also enjoyed Fluttershy and Twilight correctly being pretty causal about the whole situation going on in the episode. And I found Bloofy to be adorable, and I want that type of creature as a pet now. All and all a good episode in my book.
  20. I have been a fan since Civil War, and I have to say that I really really enjoy the Marvel Cinematic Universe. My favorite movies in it are Endgame, Infinity War, Thor: Ragnarok, Guardians of the Galaxy vol. 2, Black Panther. While there are people who may feel done with it and see Endgame as a pretty good stopping point, I am still interested in seeing what the future of the franchise has to offer. Out of the upcoming projects the ones that I am most interested in are Thor: Love and Thunder, Ms. Marvel, and What If.
