  1. Dyed my hair, yet again. Originally my hair is a golden brown with four inches of natural blonde tips. Then I got a peek-a-boo, dyed it purple. That purple faded to gray. But at the moment, since I dyed my hair about 5 weeks ago I have red (Like that fake red, that blood red.) and brown hair with green eyes.

  2. Clue tapped her hoof against the plane floor, keeping a steady beat. Finally done combing through her mane she stuffed her brush into her staddle-bag below. Skimming through the newly-found note she peeks up looking at all the other passangers, her bright yellow eyes full with wonder.

  3. Oh, man! This is such an awesome art style, I gotta say!! :D

I personally love the strong outlines like that. It gives some kind of comic/sticker feel to it. Really, really nice~

The only thing I would point out would be the hooves - the back one looks a bit weird, and perhaps they could've been a little thicker... Though I don't know if the character is designed like that or not.

Speaking of which, I absolutely love this pony's design, especially the tail! Is it your OC? Does it have a page or something? I would love to know more about it! :D

Why thank you  ^^, Yes, when I was coloring the base color I missed the end of the legs so it got all... Weird with the black outline.

Yes it is my OC :D

She doesn't have a page or anything but I have an DA http://dark-as-gold.deviantart.com/

  4. Mmmm, nice work. I like the long legs. Veeery unique.

I also think it looks.... anime. Never see anime ponies. At least, not me. Good work. smile.png

I attempted that in this, thank you.

Its actually a nice style, it sorta has a more of a stature to Princess Celestia or something tongue.png, but thinner legs and stuff. Besides it looks better then my drawings(Which speaking of I should probably get back to practicing on.)

Besides if you think its not good, then theres always practice biggrin.png.

However I like it so kudos to you for a job well done!

I was aiming for my own, original style that is a mix between what real horses look like (an athletic build) and the show's cute, pot belly, chubby ponies that we have all learned to love. Thank youvery much, Love <3

Better than I can do! It's a lovely style. Definitely makes me think of Princess Celestia.

You should look into the GIMP. It's free just like Paint.NET but has a lot more features. It's like a happy medium between Paint.NET and PS.

I'm sure, with practice, you can do better then me ^^

I'm settled into my ways, you could say. I've been using Paint.Net for three years now and I love it. I have been thinking about GIMP but I plan on getting a tablet for Christmas that comes complete with Photoshop.

  5. I personally haven't. Since I'm a girl people accept me liking ponies more then a man would be accepted. I am proud to be a pegasister,  the fan base is loving and joyful, based off of good values and filled of good people. People will judge you no matter what you like or what you do but you have to stay true to yourself and stand strong when people try to knock you down.

  6. Clue ran into the terminal, her mane flying away from her face. "I'm going to be late!" She whispered to herself as she made it into the security line that moved relativity quick. She dug through her carry-on to find her ticket, approved access she trotted quickly to the gate and took a sigh of relief when she had finally boarded the plane. She left her house without brushing through her long, tangled, pink mane; looking at the other well prepped ponies she found her eat towards the middle and pulled out the mysterious not left at her door a few days ago.

  7. If you're using Photoshop, GIMP, or something similar, you should be able to just select the colored area, making sure not to get any black (if you go to the selection menu, you shrink the selection by a pixel or two to make sure) and then the blur will only work within the selection, i.e. only the colored part and not the black.

At least, that's how it works in GIMP. I haven't used PS in a long time, but I think it works the same way.

I don't even Have PhotoShop or GIMP, I use Paint.Net for my drawing needs. I'm also still getting the hang of it with all the tricks and such. I have only done two or three pony pictures using Paint.net but I'm hoping I get a Bamboo Create Tablet for Christmas that will come with Photoshop and much more.

  8. That's not bad. It's a ton better than I can do, I'll tell you that.

The outlines are pretty thick and the hooves could use some touching up, but it's really good all around happy.png

I really like the color scheme and how long the legs are. It makes it look very elusive and mysterious.

I was messing around with the settings, the out line is accutlly a purple-ish color. I was tying to make a border forthe first time and it went out of control. :P

Thank you very much! That is exactly what I was shooting for when I made her <3

Its infinitely better than anything I can draw so I guess you should be proud... Sorry if that didn't actually sound very encouraging.

Thank you ^^ Any word is better then no word.

I do like the long legs. At first, they looked weird and out of place, but now they look kinda cool, deformed in a good way.

Although, may I ask why the lower legs are blurred?

When I was adding the base color I didn't color the legs. v_v then when I added the blur it mixed with the black out line and all of it went down hill.

  9. I tried, I really did. Since I don't have a tablet it is  long process to make something digitally. I know that the out line i did is a bit jacked up, I messed up some where in the middlle and couldn't go back to fix it.

  10. Shakespeare was around long before the Victorian era, you realize. About 300 years before. You meant Elizabethan.

As for being on-topic, no, I don't like Derpy, precisely because she is the "connection between the fandom and Studio B" that many people cite as a reason for liking her. I feel that pandering to the brony fanbase interferes with the creative process and story telling that produced such a sensation as this show in the first place. I have a feeling (impossible to substantiate) that if Lauren Faust was still in the driving seat, Derpy never would have been thrust into the foreground like that. I mean, see what happened when they did put her in? The world almost blew up in the ensuing chaos. Discord was pleased that day.

As for fanon, it irritates me when I let it, but people will do what they wish.

So you have firm impressions of her character, her way of life, and a preferred fan voice for her? Sounds like solid headcanon to me. ;) And that's okay.

My, well now don't I feel like a idiot.

I just like Derpy because she represents those in the world who have things such as autism. For example, people like the Disney Princesses, they have only recently added an African American Princess. You don't see a Disney Princess with out limbs, correct? It's just a character that shows light into differences in people. But I respect your opinion and I personalty like Derpy.

  11. I love Derpy Hooves with a passion, a fiery love of a thousand suns. I love thee to the depth and breadth and height My soul can reach, when feeling out of sight For the ends of Being and ideal Grace. I love thee to the level of everyday's Most quiet need, by sun and candle-light. I love thee freely, as men strive for Right; I love thee purely, as they turn from Praise. (That is right, I just went Elizabethan times on you.)

In other words, I love Derpy as much as she loves Muffins. As much as 10,000 Derpy's love muffins.

  12. Lol no one thinks we're old enough to get married either being both 23, but I married my best guy friend from forever three years ago and we have (almost) two beautiful boys, a wonderful home and rather good jobs (I can't say I have a career because what I want to do I can't till the boys are old enough...and he wants to be a chef :D)

Awww... :D At least you got the good cut of the cake, right? (compared to your "She-Who-Shall-Not-Be-Named) But I truly, me and my she-who-shall-not-be-named, are not old enough to get married (13 and 14..) But anyway you deserve and hug -Hugs-. And the other people deserve not to see our posts about why we do not like Rainbow Dash :P

  13. I recently got a MLP shirt from London reading "MY LITTLE PONY ROCKS" away from that I have Rainbow Dash Jacket, A flutter shy toy, a Pinkie Pie toy and a pack of trading cards. OH and I have a Rainbow Dash plushie even though she is my least favorite character on the show. AND a coloring book.

  14. I had the same type of best friend...sad part was she was my best friend through out middle school and the beginning of high-school...till she did something I could never forgive

But karma's a biotch and now she lives in a run down trailer with her alcoholic bf who won't work (or propose according to her :P) and they have three little munchkins who don't listen to her :)

(Yes I fb stalk her a little just to make myself feel better)

:o same here, She-who-shall-not-be-named did something to be that broke my heart over and over. She lasted for 2 years, although I forgave her once (Bad idea, she did it again v_v) I can't say she lives in a trailer park though, or 'married' (We are not old enough for that xD) I'm hoping karma bites her in the butt.

  15. No, no pony attractiveness please. If I had to choose I would go Rainbow Dash just because she is awesome. Who doesn't like Rainbow Dash? :D

For a matter of fact, I'm one of the few who don't. I used to have a friend like her that turned out to be a jerk, so Rainbow Dash's narcissistic ways and cocky attitude never caught up to me, I see how men like her though.

    • Brohoof 1
  16. I agree that Rainbow's narcissism is just too much sometimes, but honestly I can't stand Applejack even more! Workaholic's just get under my skin...I think it's because of daddy issues for me personally though :P

You and me will get along well in that case. I also don't find Apple Jack attractive, she is just too.... Mary Sue? I could go on and on about what I hate about Rainbow Dash, mostly because she reminds me of my ex-best friend who turned out to be a real jerk.

  17. Big Mac!!! He's not only strong and sleek, he's sweet and quiet!! THE sexiest pony EVERS!!!!

(As proof I have searched not so far and wide to find this  )

    Posted Image

Yes! TEAM BIG MAC! Strong and silent, that is just my type <3

For some reason, I just really dislike Rainbow Dash. She is my least favorite character and her narcissism bothers me.

  18. I have green and brown eyes. Although they are mostly green they have brown around the pupil. My hair color, now that is the hard part. About 4 weeks ago I died my blonde peek-a-boo (Basically the part of your hair if you put it in a pony tail that would be Under the ponytail) Purple. So at the moment I have Brown hair, four inches of blonde tips and purple that is slowly fading to grey.
