Its been a long time since Winter Chills smelled the wonderful aroma of a camp breakfast. As it entered his system he was gently awoken. Winter glanced over and saw the rest of the ponies gathering around Chetnik. He trotted over to join the fellow campers. "Looks good." he said to Chetnik. Winter always fancied himself adequate at cooking but this meal looked pretty darn good given the ingredients on hand. "Good morning," Winter greeted Noon, "Sleep well?"

As Winter's thoughts go back to the conversation, he answers "I'm from Hoofington, you know the town West of Ponyville and even more so of Canterlot" The sun disappears over a hillside and it isn't that cold but there is a breeze. "I've never personally been to Canterlot," Winter scoots an inch towards Noon out of instinct, unsure if it was to keep warm or affection...He flushed with embarrassment when he realizes his actions. He clears his throat, "It must feel wonderful to get away from it all." Winter declares trying not to look foolish.

A wave of relief hits Winter as he hears acceptance in Noon's voice as they sit by the fire. Her question causes Winter to reminisce, "Well back when I was a filly, my dad would take me camping... Those were the days, but I can't say that I've done anything like this for years" The stallion looks over at noon and asks "How 'bout you? Do you camp much" As he waits for an answer he compares the beauty of the Noon and sunset (pun intended)... "Noon wins hands down..." Winter thought breaking a half smile.

"Hello Noon, I'm Winter Chills," he says while brushing dust off his back, where he then looked back and noticed the mare addressing him, "It's uhhh, umm, a pleasure to meet you..." Her brilliant eyes are mesmerizing, and words fail the white stallion. He can't help blushing in her presence, unfortunate how well it shows against his white coat. As he stumbles for words Winter finally regains his wits. "Appledoom said it would get cold up here, would you like to join me by the fire?"

A train arrives in Appaloosa and Winter Chills steps onto steady ground for the first time since he boarded in Hoofington. "I don't have much time left". Winter thinks to himself as he hurries off into the plains. It is now dusk and Winter chills spots a party of five in the distance. Upon arrival, "Hey (gasp) I'm not (gasp) late am I? he exclaims as he collapses next to Noon to catch his breath.

This sounds like fun, I probably will only be able to do 1 or 2 posts per day on weekdays though. I'd like to be reserved as well, however I need to make an OC... WE GO!

Well (this is far fetched but) we all know that Twilight is royalty and that she is very special, having the most raw power, being an element, and celestia's personal prodigy. Also based off of evidence it seems Celestia has a plan for Twi. As we see in The Crystal Empire eps. Twilight's test is learning self sacrifice and letting others help. Well long conspiracy short... Celestia is day right? Obviously Luna is night. So the happy median here is... Thats right! Twilight! What I'm saying is that perhaps Twi is being prepared for leadership and with this she maybe one of the rulers of Equestria with the two sisters... I have many more theories and ideas, and if you ever want to discuss those or even the myth and lore of Equestria just PM me.

Hey there, this topic hasn't been touched for a bit so "insert 2 cents here..." Alright first of all, I am one of the most open Bronies the world has seen. When I say this I mean that I wear the merchandise, thus making me easily identifiable as a brony. I love and tolerate everyone, even when it hurts. Then when I'm confronted by an IRL hater, I simply stick to my friendship cannon and let them say what they want... Then surprise surprise, I LISTEN. If someone has a problem with me then haters gonna hate. I have worked up the reputation I have by not hiding a thing and letting everyone have a chance to see the magic of friendship (Let it be known that I am in highschool and completely straight. Plus I don't feel any mental health issues. So be assured that I'm not stereotypical or crazy). By giving everyone a chance to see what a true brony is, I aim to represent the fandom for what it is at heart. As for "closet" bronies whether by Jessper's definition or whatever comes to mind, I only have one thing to say. Do what you want. If you feel more comfortable concealing your love for ponies, then by all means do so, but understand that if you don't think your friends would love and/or tolerate you for who you really are than maybe those aren't the kind of people you should associate yourself with. Remember that there is always people around who are suffering the same circumstances you are and if you open up, you may just find them. Just take comfort in the fact that I personally don't have any enemies (maybe people I dislike, but no enemies). Logic is a powerful weapon my friend, use it to your advantage. When it comes to family, well... you only get one... If they don't like the person you are, what can they do? Thats right, they can't do anything! You are under your own control. Now I'm not saying be a rebel, I'm saying be happy. I mean hay, who knows. They might just accept your personality, for change is scary and it doesn't come easily... but it still comes. Well it seems I'm out of pennies so if anypony wants some friendly advice or maybe just a chat, PM me. I'm usually on latenight weekends

I agree with what you say about Celestia's words. It seems like she is preparing Twilight for something big and (for the love of luna let me be wrong) perhaps the end of the leading sisters themselves. Like the rule of greek titans before the gods, maybe something requires Celestia and Luna to sacrifice themselves. Thus leaving the elements of harmony as the mane 6 powers of good (or harmony if you will). Interesting... Celestia is day right? Obviously Luna is night! In my opinion, I absolutely loved this episode! It was great and despite other people's complaining (seriously no offense ) I for one enjoy all those little plot twists. Through the additions to the myth and lore of Equestria, new ideas can form, thus more episodes, moreover creating great places for people such as myself to ponder little questions and what many believe to be flaws. I mean seriously, I know that its a show for children, but I believe the target market is changing whether Hasbro likes it or not... If you'd like some insight into my thoughts by all means keep reading... One of my initial reactions to this episode was "Holy hoof! Celestia did dark magic!" Then through greater thought I realized that Luna was corrupted to becoming Nightmare Moon. That means Celestia is just as capable of corruption! I mean did you see the way she is always calm and collected (nevermind her actions in return of Harmony pt 1)? Almost as if everything is already under her control... All evil comes from power. Whether one is drunken with power or they are bent on gaining it, etc. that seems to be the source of all corruption Furthermore on the whole dark magic thing (excuse my rambling). Isn't it amazing how Twilight just spat out the same evil spell her mentor did at the beginning of the episode? And then she proceeds to say "That was a little trick Celestia taught me..." Remember when Celestia just left Twilight to her test outside of Canterlot Castle? I don't think Celestia taught Twi through any direct lessons. It was more like something Twilight did behind everyone's back (for she didn't know if she should but she couldn't fight curiosity). Catch my drift? No?... TWILIGHT DID SOMETHING ON HER OWN ACCORD FOR ONCE!!!! For better or for worse she is indeed moving on to her next level of magic... Heyyyyyyy...... Didn't Celestia say that too! just a thought...
