    Hey dude, quick question; going to mention baby teeth real quick in my chapter, but apparently the proper equine term for them is milk teeth. Think I should go with the equine term, or would that be too confusing for readers?

      Kind of a tricky call. I say use milk teeth as long as you make it clear what they are in the context of the scene. If anyone picks up on that, their respect for you as a writer will double instantly.

      Sounds like the right call; I'll probably mention in the author's notes at the bottom that it is indeed baby teeth in case anyone is confused, and I think it's pretty clear, though I'll let you be the judge when I send you the draft (if that's alright with you; and don't worry, it's not close to being done, not yet anyway).
