I actually like it. It forces people to add some more content to their post. Then again, there were people filling the missing characters with 'need to get to the character mi'

Yeah all the people that tried to get around it by saying things like "yada yada words words words why do we have this stupid character minimum?" kind of defeated the purpose of it. And 100 warning points for violating it was a tad harsh I think, I could understand for a 2nd or 3rd offense but I would just do a verbal only for a 1st offense if I was a moderator dealing with that situation.

Actually EP, that warning was reduced to zero points several months ago. Subsequent offenses resulted in elevated warnings, however.
