I believe in Steven! I can't speak highly enough about the show.

BD, suppose it is something of a magical girl show. You're into those, right? I think I remember you liking Sailor Moon.

I'm doing my best to catch up, though I still have a long ways to go :V

A magical girl show? I hadn't actually thought of Steven Universe in that way because the primary protagonist is male. Come to think of it, though, it does have that vibe; if Steven were a girl, the show would slide neatly into that set of tropes.

I've found it difficult to locate a dedicated (and legitimate) source for episodes. I only caught the most recent episode today by chance.
