    I dislike it because it seems to unbalance the Mane Six and cement Twilight as more important than her friends in the eyes of the show. As for potential storylines, I can think of great ideas they could do with it and poor ones, and I'm just waiting to see what happens. My issue with it stands though. I can only hope that future seasons and important episodes will concentrate on developing her friends.

    Besides Rainbow Dash? The Flash, Batman, Iron Man, Captain America, Spider Man and V from V for Vendetta. Not a huge comics person but I flip through some of my uncle's from time to time.

    Here a lot of people call me DF, which feels like an affectionate nickname to me even if it might just be an excuse not to type DashForever. And IRL a P.E class I was in a while ago sort of made up this less common version of my real name and everyone called me that the whole semester. Usually I hate it when people do that but there it was kind of nice Oh, and this guy in my church group years ago always called me freshman. Even when I wasn't a freshman anymore. I grew to like it and I threw it back in his face when he became a freshman in college

    Twilight isn't leaving the Mane Six. And while I don't like that the Mane Six are unbalanced, the answer to that isn't adding another member. That would be a far greater sign of jumping the shark than Alicorn Twilight could ever be.

    Very unpredictable. If aliens find us, then that would suggest that they would be more technologically advanced than us in at least some ways. Their morality might not resemble ours in any way, so it's difficult to say what would happen. They might try to exploit our planet, they might be disgusted by our behavior like in Space Odyssey, and they might just be interested in making friends . I wouldn't put it past humanity to try to wipe them out though, whether there is a good reason to or not.

    I'm all for equality between the Mane Six, but no. There isn't really any point or buildup to it, it would diminish the importance of Alicorns, the rest of the Mane Six probably don't particularly WANT to become Alicorns (then again I wasn't sure if Twilight would want to be one either) and I think that they are more interesting the way they are.
