    Ever since I was young, I've had the very bad habit of withdrawing when I feel overwhelmed. Whether into hobbies, other work, spending time with friends, anything that helps me just get away for a little while and not have to worry about what life's throwing my way. Out of this habit comes passivity, unreliability and many other things I don't really like about myself. And when I think about how these tendencies are hurting me and the people I care about, I beat myself up for a while and eventually just move onto something else that'll distract me. And wouldn't you know it, nothing ever gets resolved this way . It's just a big fun cycle of addiction, avoidance and guilt that I'm trying to break myself out of. Tied into all of this, I'm pretty self-centered. Which doesn't mean I'm not happy to help out others when an opportunity arises, but again, I'm usually very wrapped up in my own thoughts and problems--and how to avoid them--so I can seem distant and uncaring even to the people who are very important to me. In contrast to this, I can also be very very clingy when it comes to others. When I trust and really care about somebody, I sometimes get mushy and silly to the point where I often worry if I'm bothering them. Depends on the person and mood I'm in, of course, but I'm very overly-attached and worrywarty when it comes to many of my friendships. In a nutshell, I spend too much time looking for things and people to make me happy instead of confronting my problems, feeling a sense of accomplishment, and helping out others with their own problems.

    Between Griffin the Brush Off and Wonderbolt Academy it does seem like Pinkie's particularly clingy where Dash is concerned, whether for romantic reasons or not. But nah, I don't think the Rainboom had much of anything to do with it. GtBO was long before Pinkie knew Dash caused it to happen. I'm assuming Pinkie realized that Dash and her had a lot in common, energy, senses of humor, the works, and started to get a little obsessive a la A Friend in Deed when Rainbow wasn't enthusiastic about spending time with her at first. Aside from all their similarities, Dash's element could have something to do with it. Pinkie has a lot of anxiety about being abandoned and whether her friends value her as much as she does them, and because of this I'd assume she'd value loyalty very highly.

    This cute picture makes me long for a scene where somepony calls Rainbow out on how she sleeps everywhere except her house . Tree branches, lawn chairs, other clouds, you name it. I can see her getting all grumpily defensive about ponies knocking nests without knowing how comfy they can be

    Hey, sorry to rain on everyone's parade, but things've been getting a bit too sexual in here. Saying that you clop is fine, but this thread really wasn't intended to be a catch all for dumping every fetish, fantasy, dream, or any other kind of sexual secret you might feel the need to get off your chest. If you have any of those, cool. No one's judging you, and this thread proves that you're clearly not alone. But the rules prohibit NSFW and fetishistic content, and while discussion of these things is allowed to a point, people repeatedly sharing what they get off to (sometimes in remarkable detail) would be past that point. So yeah, just try and keep that sort of thing to a minimum and if you're uncertain about whether something in that vein is ok to post or not, err on the side of caution and don't go into detail. Again, not a judgment on you, but a reminder that some things are best kept to yourself on a forum filled with minors. --- Suppose that while I'm here, I may as well say that both Pinkie Pie and Applejack almost became my favorite pony once.

    Heya . Just letting you know that the Fan Art section is supposed to be for posting artwork you've made yourself, and not for requesting pictures or anything like that. That's why I've merged your thread with the Chrysalis fan club . There should be some good stuff in here, and I'll give you what I've got too. You've probably got a lot of that, but hope I was able to help somehow. I'm sure you'll find plenty of good stuff just by looking around on deviantart or Derpibooru.

    Everybody else's already touched on the fashion angle and I don't have much to add there, but I did notice something about the one below while putting together a blog, a while ago. It's true that she's not big on random displays of affection. After all she's got a reputation to maintain -_- ! But give her an excuse, and she actually turns really huggy. Need reassurance? Dash hug! Kick flank with a personal hero? Celebratory Dash hug! Friend overcomes their fears and saves the day? Moar Dash hug! "I goofed, I'm sorry and you're really important to me ?" Apology hug! Dash hugs also come in group and wing varieties. Get yours today! I'd go so far as to call her one of the huggiest main characters .     She lives to make other people happy! She's got a lot of energy and puts every bit of it to good use for other people, and that's something pretty special She's had plenty of good episodes. From Party of One to Too Many Pinkie Pies to Pinkie Pride, she's had her share of hits in every era of the show. Her enthusiasm is infectious . While it can be a bit much at times, she's just too bubbly and excited and happy not to drag you along into her world of endless joy. She's good at brightening up people's days, both in and out of the show. She's a pretty interesting character who is actually much more complicated than she seems, and who has some very relatable fears. See this video: She needs some cheering up
