The thing about RD is, first you need to stop thinking like her cockiness is the worst personality she could have. Second, out of all the characters, her and Twilight are the only ones who actually show signs of them going through character development. Like they actually keep what they learn. wonder bolts Acadamy was the best example. We pretty much saw past RD with present RD. It showed how far she has come. Take Applejack.
