  1. I have to concur with what Shift said. I also used to be a pretty popular member, back when the forum only had one-third as many members as it does now. Unfortunately, time passes, friends leave, and you find yourself as a faded smudge in the background while new people take the front stage. I know how it feels to not even bother participating in the community when your contribution just goes unnoticed. So my advice is to contribute anyway—someday, it will pay off. :)

  2. Yeah, I made the same mistake with... well, a couple of people. I don't think I ever truly "loved" them the way love should be like... and I somehow doubt that they did, either. It's kind of hard, finding a mutual relationship that way, y'know? I still don't know what love really is, but right now, I'm still very young and I have a lot of time to learn. You're the same age as me, so you do, too. :)

  3. You're in... fifth grade? You probably shouldn't be on the Internet at all without parent supervision, and rules have forbidden children of under 13 years of age to be on this site.

That aside, telling parents or teachers about bullies can help; don't be afraid about their beating you up for it, because you can just report that too and eventually it'll reach a point where they'll realize that the consequences outweigh the positives.

  4. [iNSERT LONG HEARTFELT POST SAYING I LOVE YOUR FACE TOO YEAH <3333]

You're probably the first guy I feel legit luff for. ImeanI'llrefrainfromsayinganythingtoodrastic but I've been in high-spirits all day because we mightactuallybeathingOMGOMG*GIRLYSQUEAL* because you're a really kind, witty, and smelly boy, and despite our rocky first start, I feel like we've really gone to that next stage. Love you Makufeces

  5. Jesus Christ, not again.

    I'll use bullets...

    • Look up the definition of a Mary Sue.
    • Think about how Twilight actually managed to beat Tirek. Yeah, with her friends. Just what are you complaining about?
    • Most of the major villains are beaten by them all working together. Nightmare Moon, Discord, Tirek, to name a few. The rest aren't beaten by the main six, but they can't save the world all the time.
    • The writers aren't going to read your blogs. You're not even beating a dead horse—you're beating an immovable wall.
    • I'm sorry for your disorder, but that's no excuse to bother people like this because they like something you don't. Your attitude suggests to me that you know that you're beating this to death but you refuse to do anything about it. And I suggest you change that attitude. More healthy for you and us.

  6. Why are you complaining? You said so yourself that you were glad the Rainbow Power scene made Twilight's friends "useful" again. So your main gripe is that you basically don't like what the majority of the fandom likes, and thus the rest of us are accusing Twilight's friends of being "disposable"? That's a stupid accusation. I'm afraid you're wasting your time.

  7. That really doesn't excuse it. I don't care if someone did it before—when you keep beating a dead horse, it's not only ineffective, it's also going to annoy the lot of us.

Your rants weren't insane, they were plain repetitive and recycled the very first point you made over and over again even when there was clear evidence it wasn't true. That is not the kind of stubbornness that compels people to argue with you.

  8. Here's the thing.  The blue box containing Rainbow Power was supposed to be the ultimate solution to the Tirek problem.  But then, the writers deliberately abandoned it for the sake of giving Twilight the other princesses' alicorn magic, even though that kind of thing would inevitably fail.  Which was why I was thankful that the Rainbow Power box -- and the real magic, that of friendship -- was eventually brought back...

There was one key missing. Until Twilight found something that represented her element, they weren't going to open the box any time soon.

And they weren't going to jump to that immediately, thank you very much—otherwise the plot would have no conflict at all. The point is to show that the magic of friendship is more important than power, and to express that you need to show what happens when you have power.

...And yet people cared more about Twilight's one-on-one fight with Tirek than the Rainbow Power scene in the climax.  The fact that the one-on-one magic fight between Twilight and Tirek stole most of the two-part finale was what stripped Twilight's friends of their relevancy, even when they received Rainbow Power.

So, like, you're saying it's because the fandom cared more about the fight scene means that Twilight's friends are irrelevant. You're sure putting a lot of basis on the fandom instead of the real story, eh?

  9. Then why are you saying AJ had five episodes when she shared more than half of them with another character? :)

Simple Ways is certainly more about Rarity than any other character. It taught her to remain true to herself instead of changing herself to please another pony. :D I haven't watched Inspiration Manifestation but I'm sure Rarity was a lot more important in there than you think.

You can't just dismiss episodes you don't like, you know. ;)
