      I don't have the money for Photoshop, so I opted to use GIMP instead. It's not bad, but I think I prefer PaintTool SAI... if only I had a Windows machine D:

      I know that feel :( ... Paint Tool SAI is really good though! That's the one I use. But yeah, I guess GIMP is the way to go for you. Good thing about that is you'll get to develop great skills!
