    No offense, but her being the Element of Determination, or Perseverance, or Bravery or whatever just doesn't make any sense. The Elements of Harmony constitute what makes a friendship work. Honesty, Loyalty, Kindness, Generosity, Laughter, and even Empathy are all integral parts of a friendship, but none of the ones mentioned earlier have much to do with it. Maybe determination and perseverance to make a friendship last, but even so... that's grasping at straws a bit. I'm more satisfied with Starlight simply remaining a recurring side character like Discord instead of actually being a main character. This precisely! Bravery doesn't have much to do with being a friend, and nor do most of the ideas mentioned here.

    Voted Sunset, 'cause her threat level wasn't very high. Didn't help that the worst crime she committed before putting on the Element of Magic is to antagonize people. She's kind of a ruler... in a sense... but over a high school? Furthermore, her motivations were also not very thoroughly explored (so... Sunset origin episode, please? ) which further weakens her capacity to be a villain. Thankfully, she emerged from the ashes of flat villainhood as a bright, new, and engaging heroine! As for the secondary antagonists, I voted Jet Set and Upper Crust. Those two annoyed the crap out of me in Sweet and Elite with their irritating and pompous attitudes. Honorable mentions go to the Flim Flam brothers and the three douchebags in Sonic Rainboom.

    I'm part of the minority that likes the movies! Rainbow Rocks especially was quite great, and though the other two had some issues, I wouldn't say that I hated them as much as other fans. Personally, I think some people are just a little biased because it wasn't pony-themed, but eh. And, uh, to tell you the truth, I mostly like the franchise for Sunset Shimmer.

    According to Stephen Davis, executive producer, there is indeed going to be another Equestria Girls movie! Yeesss! We haven't really gotten that much information on it so far, but we do have this: On the top right of the poster , it says... Equestria Girls: Legend of Everfree? Sounds intriguing. I wonder if they're going to move out of the school setting into the mystery/fantasy genre. So, what do you guys think will happen? Post your thoughts below!

    A Celestia episode, definitely. It's been five seasons, Luna's had at least six for her own, so it's about time Sunpony got into the spotlight. Good development for Starlight Glimmer—hopefully not having it be just a copy of Sunset's redemption. I really like the idea of Twilight asking Sunset to come to Equestria in order to help Starlight get over her guilt and possible self-hatred for her crimes. And... this probably isn't gonna happen, but Sunset coming back for a visit? To reconcile with Celestia, perhaps? Unfortunately, there's a pretty small chance of seeing this in the main show—because this is gonna force people to admit that Equestria Girls is indeed canonical. But one can hope.

    I did admit I was a little biased! Sunset's the answer to both my questions mostly because we've seen her more and how much she's changed, whereas we haven't seen much of Starlight after her redemption yet. Who knows... maybe Starlight's redemption will turn out to be better after all. But for now, I'm on Sunny's side... though I'm willing to give Starlight a chance too.
