  2. If Rainbow Dash deserves one, then everypony deserves one. She's no better than the rest of her friends. Yes, she can fly fast and all, but that's not a good reason to get her own show.
  3. I don't know about the rest of you, but I can hardly care less about sleep...get it? Rest of you? Hahaha...

  5. Ever thought Applejack's outfit in the Season 3 Finale could be the best out of all of them? No? Blue and orange clash? Well, now I shall change your mind...I shall dazzle you...with THIS!
  6. Sure, I am, especially at your indignant afterthoughts, it gives a great feeling of pleasure. :3 Back on topic...the Crystal Empire's story didn't seem quite finished, and I'm interested to see where they would go with that. I also would like to see more adventures in the Everfree Forest - that's my favorite part of Equestria.
  7. Welp, there you go, you said it yourself again. If that's the case, then why are you saying that they shouldn't travel "every other bloody episode" if you don't care where they go? Furthermore, not everyone thinks that staying in Ponyville won't impact the entertainment value.
  8. They don't. You said yourself that 90% of the episodes have them stay in Ponyville. Apparently, it seems you're contradicting yourself with claims that they travel to a different place every other episode. Yes, I know you're exaggerating, but my point is that the main six, in fact, do not travel much at all.
  9. I love you so much, OP. Warning: Below is a highly unpopular opinion in this thread, so watch your jimmies :3 My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic is a cartoon show for children. That's it. Nothing more, nothing less. I asked myself many times why people are so attached to the show; so attached, in fact, that some of them wish to have...stuff with a pony. The answer varies between many people, and I understand, too. I mean, there is definitely a reason why this cartoon show about colorful ponies is so popular, right? It probably opened up nostalgic memories of childhood when your parents and peers taught you the exact same lessons. Unfortunately, their lessons don't seem to have the power to cure cancer. For example...there was a story, someone who decided to commit suicide, but watched the show and said it was so powerful it caused them to change their mind completely. Forgive me if I sound heartless for saying this, but that seems...well, too farfetched. It rather disgusts me that people do not keep in mind the lessons their parents and peers taught them, but they do keep lessons from a cartoon show. In short: I do not believe MLP:FiM is a show that can cause my mom's business arguments with her coworkers to cease. Obviously, the power of this show varies between each person, but if I ever hear another story about how ponies have turned a cruel person into a kindly saint...
  10. No, of course not. But, once in a while, a change will be good, and there's more out there than the tiny town of Ponyville that can teach them friendship lessons as well. Many are probably getting bored with the constant setting of Ponyville, and can do well with more adventuring episodes.
  11. Just made my first event on the calendar :3 Time to snack on some pies.

  12. National Pi Day celebrates Pi, a mathematical concept and a number that never ends....at least no one has found the end yet. Often, we round it off to 3.14. If you are a mathematician, this is your day. For National Pi Day is a celebration of mathematics. And, more specifically.... it celebrates "Pi". Today is the birthday physicist Albert Einstein. Einstein was born on March 14, 1879. The date is also represented as 3.14. We strongly suspect some combination of these two facts is why someone created the day on March 14th. However, "Pi" was around long before Albert Einstein was born. From here So, it's the day of Pi, because March 14 = 3/14 = 3.14 = Pie. Enjoy eating!
  13. Sorry, but not only does this story scream cliche, but it also needs...well, a lot of conventions editing. Not to mention rushed...
  14. I went with Roseluck, because I lost my love for Apple Bloom when she was completely nonchalant to the way her sister tried her best to keep her family happy in AFR. Rose was already one of my favorite background ponies as soon as I saw a beautiful piece of art of her by some guy on deviantART.
  15. Hmph...frankly, I don't think Applejack will break down into tears after remembering a smidgen of them or something. She's...what, in her twenties now? At least ten years have passed since her parents died. She could cope. She is not a weakling, and I don't like it very much when she's always represented in fanfics as a pony who couldn't handle it after a long time. What's really the sad part of it, at least for me, is not her parents' death, nor what Applejack felt after they did, but how that affected Applejack as a character, as a whole. Think about it...independent, always willing to help others, being more of a motherly figure to Apple Bloom, always working on the apple farm rather than spending time doing what she normally should do. Stubbornly thinking that she could take on Sweet Apple Acres all by herself, even though it seemed futile in the beginning. I remember something @Wingnut said...Fluttershy responded to the brutality she endured as a filly with kindness instead of revenge. It's the same situation here with our seemingly ordinary apple farmer. Most would delve into depression, not willing to face anybody, to talk to anyone, prone to violence and whatnot. Applejack, instead, decided that she will fill the hole that were her parents, taking up responsibility. For an entire few acres of an apple farm, not to mention her little sister, who is...quite hard to manage, causing trouble with her cutie mark cravings. Anyway, I sort of shifted from the original idea...ahem. It's unlikely that they'll follow the story, because of the little kids that watch the show and all. We can certainly guess and make up stories for it, though.
  16. Thinking of making a thread titled "MLP:FiM: Defensive Analyzations" relating to certain common assumptions about the show. Might make me sound overly defensive and being a hypocrite or something. Urgh...

  17. Just a few days back and MLPforums is already starting to be a bit dull. D:

  19. This game is straightforward. Guess which user is the one representing the clue that the poster above you will post. This probably means that regulars will have the upper hand, but ah well. New members learn more about the oldies that way. :3 Example: That looked stupid... but whatever. Be sure to be specific in your clues. It can be about anything, ranging from age to gender to their likes and dislikes that will separate that user from all the thousands of the members here on MLPforums. If someone guessed wrong, you can quote their answer and say so, but don't post a clue after that. The next poster will take the clue from the previous of the previous. Starting now! The user is a Pinkie fan :VVVV
  20. Posting so soon after my previous one... :3 - I'm not sure if this will get me points or not, but I think that many people here are sucking up and worshipping mods and admins when they should be treating them as equals. - Scratch my previous thought, 99% of the opinions in this thread are not even unpopular. - I find that common low self-esteem people on these forums rather irritating. Maybe I should be sympathetic and kind, but honestly, I think many of them are just hoping for people to cheer them up and/or is hoping to attract attention. - I spit my drink out whenever someone says that Scootaloo is underrated. Please. Don't make me laugh. - Spitfire is neither "hot" nor "sexy." - Bads Seed is a horrible song. - I do not want to grow up (as in age, not maturity). - I do not think MLPforums is the best site in the world, completely perfect with no flaws (but I still do like these forums).

  22. I chose Applejack's lovely Stetson, partly because best pony wears it, but mostly because it's plain. Lolol, so why am I calling an accessory that's plain the best? 'Cause, well..."best" doesn't necessarily mean the prettiest looking. It could also mean how much it fits a character and enhances them, which is essentially why I think AJ's hat is the best. It's like, part of her, and if it goes missing (I saw it lost plenty of times in the show), even if someone doesn't particularly care for Applejack, they will notice that her hat is gone. Plus, it has potential to be one of her parents'. Sad story time.
  23. "Double life" may be too strong of a word to complement my current devotion to the MLP fandom. Yeah, sure, it's a great show and all but I honestly wouldn't shed any tears if it got removed or something. Being too attached to characters that do not exist in reality isn't very healthy, especially if it got...over the top. I used to be extremely devoted to the fandom, going as far as to insult people if they have a different opinion from me, but now I don't feel as strongly to it now. I enjoy discussing about ponies and having different opinions and whatnot, but nothing else. I never apply MLP memes to real life, such as saying "20% cooler" or "the cake is a lie", et cetera. I don't let a cartoon show take over my life. Of course, the exception is that I spend a lot of time on the forums and the MLPwikia, talking about ponies. Maybe it's just my debating instinct. I wouldn't go back in time and prevent myself from being a fan, because overall, it was a positive experience for me. I may not be too attached to My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic as some bronies may be, but it's a great show nonetheless. However, it wasn't always positive; back in my rabid fangirl days, I let the show take over my mind so much that I started to lag in terms of schoolwork and other more important things. It wasn't that great. And yeah, I'm a closet brony/pegasister. Very unpopular at school, y'know, and the fact that I watch a cartoon show about ponies wouldn't give me any points in the "cool kids" category. I told my closest IRL friend that I like MLP, but nobody else other than her. However, a couple of times some boys saw me drawing ponies or looking at pony-related stuff. And goodness knows what they did with that news. I don't want to find out. That's another negative aspect in finding out about the show. My parents knew, too (I had to confess after they asked me why my grades are failing) but it wasn't as hard with them, even though they are taken aback. 'Course, these negatives are nothing compared to all the positives. I met a very close friend here on the forums who is constantly helping me and being a great friend to me and is currently my "Internet boyfriend".
  24. If these are unpopular opinions, I'm a flying pig. More. - I don't hate Justin Bieber, I hate his music. Just because you don't like his singing does not mean you should bother hating someone's guts. - Diamond Tiara is awesome. - I enjoyed Spike at your Service. - Now that I look over this thread, maybe 90% of the opinions in here aren't even unpopular. :VVV
