    I find it funny that pixellated images are being made into shirts and memes by people too young to have actually played games that were visibly pixellated.

      Thanks! I've thought that many times myself! And I love this "retro, 8-bit" look that some indie side-scrollers are getting and the popularity they've found, but they still look far better than any real 8-bit game ever did.
