I don't think that you are less brony, but you are disregarding the show, everything we do, animations, music, fanfics, art, OC's, anything is based on the show that we love, actually that surprised me a little bit. And TBH a terminator pony would be pretty cool, if you can objectively explain me his roots, I shall buy it

let me picture you an simple example, if you make an OC with horrible colors that doesn't match, you may think it's awesome, but it's just not right, use these same colors to design anything else, a banner, a web page, an OC from another fandom, a dress, etc. Your customer will not buy your designs, it just hurt people's eyes, and it's not because it's our opinion and we want to rage about it, it's just simply wrong to that and not appealing.
