    Okay, this is only me I am sure, and many will disagree with me, but I find this whole Bronycon thing to be......very 'meh'.

      It is more for Poniverse in general. Poniverse can't go without Feld0 so we must raise money for him and Poniverse to attend and represent the site to the community at large.

      They should be a bit more specific with that then. (I see just 'Feld0' slapped everywhere) Even then, I still don't really see the point. This is the largest MLP forum on the Internet and one of the largest MLP sites as far as I know, I don't really see why it needs to be represented to the 'community' at large. I don't know, something about it all just bugs me.

      This site, if I had to guess, has about 10...maybe 15 thousand members. Maybe more. Now that is significant, but there are waaaaaaaay more bronies out there than a few thousand. So to those not aware of the site, we go to represent and expose them. Plus, it is a good chance to meet with some of these people IRL. Among other things. I respect that you don't favor the idea though.
