    Some people apparently don't get that you are not obligated in any way to treat a forum admin as an Internet god amongst men. That is a common problem in sites like this...Maybe it's the whole celebrity worship complex that many societies have going on..

      @Geek, I think that is how it should be done, but it isn't sadly. If you and and an admin said the same words, the words of the admin would be seen as more important and more valuable. This, to me, is an ugly reflection of society as a whole. Those with fame and/or power, their words mean something. The ones without those things, their words mean nothing.

      They probably earned the right. I have more inclination to listen to Martin Luther King Jr. than some random stranger on the sidewalk.

      The keyword there is 'probably'. No one really knows that for sure, and just making a website is definitely not going to make me automatically think that something knows everything about everything.

       

      There is actually a big difference between some admin on some website and MLKJ.
