Confidence can go a long way, it can even help improve your abilities. It's like with singing, you cannot sound very good if you don't sing full and confidentially, and project well, but with some confidence, singing becomes a lot easier!

Again, you say this without knowing me personally. I can be the greatest whatever alive, yet everything makes it not even matter. Doesn't matter anyway because I am pretty terrible at what I do. I cannot drive, I get disability so my income is abysmal, I am constantly depressed and drowning in self hatred, any time I look at other people I hate myself more and more. I have no will or means to do anything, even then it is futile. I want to just enjoy my simple life but it's impossible.

@Kyoshi, I don't know you personally, but that doesn't mean I haven't seen your work, and your intelligence at work on the forums before. You don't know me personally either, so does that mean that you would believe me as worthless myself? What reason do I have to be considered worthwhile?

Why wouldn't it matter even if you were the greatest? I would think it would.

I am sorry to hear you cannot drive, I personally don't drive yet even at 17, but...
