Trump is currently angering half of the world it seems. I have a strong feeling that isn't proving a lot of us wrong. Actually, quite the opposite. He is going above and beyond what many of us feared.

And what does that second part mean? That we should just give a giant middle finger to everyone that could be considered an ally? Not only is that entirely selfish, but it is also entirely self-destructive.

While doing so, he is befriending the other half. He always made it clear what his stance was. And in reality, a lot of the world being angered by him is not even him doing anything against them for the matter. Leaders of other nations are just committing suicide for their own governance by trying to "oppose" him :T. So in reality, I would place a lot of the blame on the idea of it being "popular" to be against Trump.

No. It means that if allies choose to abandon the US over petty things (yes, petty, because these nations are not clean and innocent any more than the US is), at least the US will have gained a new ally.
