You...do realize, as well as all of these other people should realize, that you CAN have both, right? Just because people like you don't want apps like YouTube and Netffix, doesn't mean other people don't. Just because Nintendo would possibly get some apps on their system doesn't their entire games division will simply stop. Besides, they don't seem TOO busy right now, if all of these overpriced ports are any indication. These applications were on the 3DS, a handheld much less powerful, and the Wii U, a system the Switch has already outsold. There is literally no reason whatsoever to not have these things on the Switch. These apllications didn't stop the 3DS from having tons of great games, I am pretty sure it wouldn't stop the Switch from doing the same thing. 

This logic of 'No new features!!!' is pretty much a fail.

I mean, last I checked no one is against the idea of the Switch getting these "additional features". They just shouldn't be a high priority of things you want from your game console. It's a really dumb thing to complain about. Like, who in there right mind goes "the Switch is a worthless purchase because it doesn't have Netflix"? That just makes you look crazy. Would anyone really complain if it was absent on the PS4, or Xbox One?(which you already have to pay for Xbox Live to use anyway). Probably not

Again, they're nice, but they shouldn't be a major priority

I don't think anybody is really against additional features, it just that games are more of a major focus and in comparison to the games, features like Netflix are of lesser importance.
