The amount of Switch owners that are so hardcore dedicated to NOT wanting additional features on the system is laughable and sad at the same time.

Also, the gold requirement for Youtube on Xbox One is not true. It was there for Youtube on Xbox 360, but I think they got rid of that too.
Nobody is buying the Switch solely for entertainment apps, that's not the point. Having the option there would hurt nothing and would only add value to the Switch itself.

@Celli Yes, because having a few essential apps on the Switch means that it would get NO new games at all. Totally. I mean, that's what happened to the 3DS. It got Youtube and web browser and all of a sudden it got no new games whatsoever. Such a shame, I know. Same thing happened to the PS4. It apps and poof, all game development just stopped entirely.
@Key, Unlike Xbox One and PS4, the Switch is portable and that is a big selling point to the Switch. So convenient apps like that would indeed add only value to the Switch, it would hurt absolutely nothing and only add value for people like me that want it. If an app like Youtube is convenient for me on Xbox One, it would be even more convenient for me on the portable Switch.
