Does anyone even know what happened on July 4th?

supposingly it was the day of independence.

I have several reasons, but the main one is that it is often a holiday of arrogance, superiority. While many claim it is a 'celebration of our independence', it actually is just an excuse to continue to say that Murica is better than the rest of the world. A day of pretending that we alone came up with the idea of freedom. A day of, as I call it, patriotic masturbation. Not to mention all of the corruption here, the debt, the poor, the rejections in health care, the list goes on and on.

On top of that, we have Trump as president. There is no pride to be had with him in charge.
