At this point, I am not even sure if I am convinced that depression ever truly ends. I honestly don't think it does.

Depression never really does end, at least in my opinion. The best you can do is try and chin up when things look bleak.
I don't say this to be cynical/jerkish. I say this because it's truth.
Things can and will get better in even the worst of times. Remember, someone out there is fighting for you because they care. You're never truly alone, even if you've convinced yourself you are.
