If it actually had even a decent progression system I could look passed some of its faults, but it just has nothing to make me want to come back to it.

The Battle Royale style games have blended together for me at this point, TBH. 

I'd still play Overwatch over Call of Duty any day though. Personally, I'd be inclined to stick to Paladins because it is better (being that it has an actual focus on strategy during picking, and it's items system actually makes for more effective counter-strategies than Overwatch's hero switching that in of itself is also counterable and a horribly designed mechanic) and it is also free to play. I'd say it helps that it's also on the Switch, but Switch's online features are very much lacking.
