Black Ops 1 had pretty solid multiplayer and I've heard that Black Ops 2 was pretty decent. Other than that I can't really say much for the series in the past 8 or 9 years.

Black Ops 2 was probably my favorite, but this series is now forever doomed. With BO4, Activision has shown us just how far they are willing to go to get the cash. We're talking $5 emotes, $8 character skins, up to $8 weapon skins and $2 loot boxes and zombies microtransactions too, in a $60 game with a $50 season pass.
