Alternate take: Xbox as a locked down exclsuives box is dead. Xbox is a service now. Xboxhardware will be like surface hardware for windows pcs. MS no longer cares where you play their games and use their services as long as you are doing so.

@Sparklefan123 I am not feeling comedic about this, at all. I have put a lot of money into Xbox over the past several years. I have supported Xbox more than any other company, and this is what I fucking get for it. Having no goddamn reason to even own it at this point. Microsoft can hype up their new console all they want, they are giving absolutely nobody a reason to own one. Then again, they are a corporation. They don't give a shit about an ant like me.

@Twilighto I wish I had your optimism on this. I would appreciate this entire idea if it didn't mean that the Xbox One community will most likely dwindle over time. MS is only hurting its console market by doing this, in my opinion.

I really seedo not think this is as big a deal as you are making it. The xbox community will be fine. The xbox platform has changed/is changing and you'll have to accept that.
