      I've actually never played any Rad Racer in my life surprisingly. :o Now what I did play a lot when I was little was Top Gear on SNES which uses a similar racing style, that game has an awesome soundtrack. :3

      Considering your birth year, the SNES or N64 will likely have more nostalgia factor for you....

       

      I  like racing games because their pick up and go type games very easy to get into
