    That is probably where his talent lies, being able to make all sorts of balloon creations with his hooves. Could be that he started messing around with balloon stuff with his hooves before messing much with magic. This could also mean he struggles doing the same thing with his magic, which is an interesting change of pace for a unicorn character.

    Sounds like a 'minding our own business' sorta deal. Now, it would be cool if in season 7 they reference him and those lands to the south at least once. That way it won't feel like 'Oh, yeah, there's a big dictatorship south of Equestria. Forgot to mention that.' in the movie. Unless the movie has a time-jump of some kind.

    Wouldn't mind some Hershey's dark chocolate pop-tarts. Not sure if dark chocolate would mix well with that but that is why I want to try it. XD

    I think the issue she has with the mane 6 is guilt, lot's of it. She apparently spent many, many years completely hating the mane 6, Twilight especially, and then proceeds to do the whole imprisoning thing...Yeah, she probably just feels awkward because of her guilt, which results in a difficulty in connection. The other characters she has befriended, like Sunburst and Trixie, she has no guilt towards those characters to meddle with their connection. She doesn't have that mental block. I am sure she wants to be great friends with the mane 6, it is just a struggle to get past those pesky mental barriers. Which, I actually like that. It shows that she simply hasn't forgotten what she did and she can eventually come to terms with that after struggling with it.

    Egh, the concept of 'She had a brother the whole time!' has already become rather stale. These characters apparently never want to mention their siblings unless that sibling makes a direct appearance. I will say that I like the idea of the Elements of Heroism though. Wouldn't mind a group of chosen stallions. :3

    Haven't had pizza from any major chain in a long while. The reason for this? A local place in my town makes Hunt's Brothers pizza! Not sure if that counts as a chain or just a brand, but I think Hunt's Brother's pizza is by far the best pizza on the planet. I think it beats all of the major chains by a landslide.

    Wow! This game actually looks fantastic already. I absolutely love the visuals and it looks like they are going all out with the snakey mechanics. It is quite creative. I will be keeping an eye on this one, thanks for letting us know. Hadn't heard of this until now. Now, imagine if it had CO-OP SNAKE GAMEPLAY.

      Nope, totally legit. There is a brand of popcorn in stores called Popcorn Indiana, named after the town. Also, that popcorn is the best! :D

      Aye. Project Cars was a neat idea on paper, and the game does LOOK really good, but it's so... unfinished. Half-hearted. :/

    Not entirely sure about Jeremy on this one, he may skip it. He has skipped movies before that he had zero interest in. The movie will no doubt be reviewed by other critics though. It is a movie, movie critics review movies, and it will result in something polarizing no doubt.

    About. Damn. Time. AJ's parents actually being acknowledged is a surprise to me as I really thought they would actively avoid it. Happy they aren't. Of course seeing somehow about Rainbow's parents is awesome as well. At this point I am more interested in them.

    A thing that happens in gaming quite often is that a game will gain a reputation. Not just for the overall game itself, but sometimes, specific parts of a game will gain their own rep for whatever reason. Be it the level or section was amazing to people, or gamers thought it was insanely tedious or perhaps immensely difficult. There are many reasons why one part of a game can be etched into gaming history. So I want to look deeply into this subject. Here, I want to us to discuss levels or sections in games that have reputations for any reason, and if that particular part of that game either lived up to that reputation or for you, it simply didn't. I will start with one that is fairly infamous: Blighttown from Dark Souls: This is the part of the game you hear about constantly. When I started playing the game, all I heard about from people was how terrible Blighttown is and how it is one of the most difficult parts of the game and blah blah. When I got there and proceeded through it, all I found out was that one aspect of this reputation was true: It is essentially low-framrate town. Beyond that though, I honestly found Blighttown to be quite simple. Sure there are snipers that can give you toxic, but once you kill them, they are gone forever. Blighttown can be tricky if one rushes it, but that can be said about a lot of the game. I took it slowly and eventually overcame the area with relative ease. I personally thought the Tomb of the Giants was drastically worse. I personally felt that Blighttown absolutely didn't live up to the reputation it had gained.

    Some 'dark themes' can work even in an animated film, but I think it is about subtlety and that is what a lot of movies that try to be 'dark' lack. Batman V Superman is a good example. The entire friggin' movie seemed to be filmed with some dark filter to show you it means 'business'. That is just one example. Having a more dark theme that is subtle throughout the movie can add a bit more complexity to the overall plot, if done well. Nowadays though, it is all about hitting us over the head with how cool a movie is for being edgy.

    This whole situation about PewDiePie is hilarious in a sad way. He did something stupid, really stupid, yet all I see on the internet and Youtube is an army of people ready to defend him at a moment's notice. It is amazing how fame and fortune will just let you get away with nearly anything in this world. The lesser folk aren't so lucky.

      If it was a social experiment, shouldn't he release some kind of hypothesis or analytics regarding what the experiment would be entailing of or dealing with particularly? :/

      My point exactly. He can't simply backpeddle and say 'It was a social experiment!' when the media reacts negatively to it. If the whole point was getting reaction out of people, then all he did was point out the obvious. Pretty sure stating that all people of a certain thing should die is going to piss a lot of people off. He shouldn't be defended for it and I am appalled that some people are defending him.

    There is one particular line that has always been a favorite for me, it is from the song 'Ghost Love Score' by Nightwish and it is also what my motto here is: "Redeem me into childhood, show me myself without a shell." The writer, Toumas, explained that the line is directly referencing his childhood and how he believes those to be happier times for him. He tries to tap into his childhood through his lyrics. This reminds me of myself in many ways, as I view myself as a child at heart. Another great piece of lyrics, for no particular reason are the chorus lines from the Zeraphine song 'Tomorrow's Morning': "Leaving our hopes alone tonight, we've buried tomorrow's morning. Tracing the scopes of our delight, we've buried tomorrow's morning." Always loved that chorus. Another awesome set of lines from the song 'Tera-Fied' by Static X: "Put it in the slot, breathe it all in, take another hit, show me what you've got, rhythm in the head, hold the fucker in, never got enough, never got enough, loving you to death I put the trigger on hold!" Yet more great lines, from the song 'Clash of Cultures' by Mechina: "Mindwash the weak, turn them to pawns, our crying mothers, their dying sons. Forget morality, inject vanity, upon the alters, of history." Those are some of my favorites.
