This coronavirus thing has kinda gotten old. 19 people have died in the US from it so far, out of what, 350 million people? So the state of New York declares a state of emergency. Starting to think the media's artificial panic is actually working, because of course it is.

The media is definitely making the coronavirus seem worse than it really is, and they are probably doing it for the views and the money.
Sometimes I wonder why the media overexaggerates things and tells lies to get more views and more money, but then I remember that it simply is just the capitalist society we live in today.

I just watched Uncut Gems and it was one of the most fascinating films I've ever seen, it is one hell of a ride. I absolutely adore great film experiences like this, it makes me feel aliiiiiiiiive. Seriously, excellent movie. Very glad that I finally got to see it.

Thanks friends. Everyone is quiet right now. The culprit seems to be a storm line that is currently south of the state but it is moving north-northeast. I am unsure if it will really result in anything bad but it has been a very long time since we got any severe weather so me eyes are on it like this:

It is a shame that Japan seems to have such a sexist culture. Look no further than the Dead or Alive series for this and even tons of corporate tomfoolery to boot. A fighting game franchise that has excellent mechanics but it's main selling point is "bOoBs". Not to mention Dead or Alive 6's DLC costing in total almost $2,000. Mostly for more scantily clad outfits for the females, because of course. Japan is a place I have a love/hate relationship with and same goes for most of their media as well.

... Yeah they are and I don't necessarily like that about them. Though what I do find interesting on the subject is that they are far more open to having LGBT characters in their media than we are here. They don't complain every time about it and claim it's "Hollywood's Liberal Agenda" or some nonsense. If you look up LGBT characters in anime and compare it to the amount of LGBT characters in western animation, you'll see a LOT more examples of it.
I mean Yuri on Ice is a thing and that alone proves that point.

It's fucking weird man. They don't allow same sex marriage yet they do that, whereas in the US even the mentioning of anything LGBT is considered an "agenda". There was this lesbian teacher (forgot in what state) who brought up her fiance in class because it was "get to know your teacher" day or something. She was suspended after parents complained that she was pushing a "homosexual agenda". On a day where the students get to know their teacher better. Luckily she won against them and got a $100,000 settlement. She could have easily gotten more but she still wanted to work there. She also was voted teacher of the year at that school twice before this. So even mentioning her fiance was considered a "gay agenda" by idiots and a good teacher's career could have been ruined because of homophobes. But noooooooo, homophobia isn't a problem in the US these days, definitely not.

I am really excited for AC New Horizons. I do hate the save cloud nonsense but make no mistake, the game looks absolutely amazing. I've watched the direct a few times now and each time I get more excited.

Is it weird that sometimes cutesy/happy faces (like on ponies) make me sad? I think it is something about seeing such a happy face and thinking of the opposite. Or that happy face going away for whatever reason. Yeah, I don't get me either.

Nintendo is one of the most brain dead companies on the planet. Get this: I just watched the Animal Crossing Direct. It was literlally perfect until the save data part. Nintendo is refusing to let us back up our sava data to cloud WHICH WE PAY FOR, and their horrendous solution is a ONE TIME, SINGLE DATA RESTORATION if our data gets lost somehow. ONE. No data transfer, no back up, just ONE RESTORATION on their end, which means they are totally backing up our save but actively refusing to let us use that data.
Seriously Nintendo, FUCK. YOU. Get this through your thick, pea-brain containing skull. The Xbox 360 allowed us to backup our save data with no restrictions nearly 10 YEARS AGO. The Xbox One lets us backup our saves, go to another console, make progress and continue back at home. They had it down like a science in 2013 but here you are in 2020 and you have this shit.
I am infuriated by this. I was literally grinning so hard from this direct because it was perfect but the moment this shit was brought up, that happiness is now gone. Nintendo is unbelievably stupid, a company filled with morons inhaling their own fumes with glee. I am one idiot who barely finished high school yet I can come up with 1,000 different ways to make this better, but Nintendo can't. Hilarious. Nintendo, get bent you arrogant shitlords.

I am legit furious about this. It is insanity. So rarely do I see a company actively create a massive problem on their own and then completely fumble their own solution to the problem that they themselves are creating. I was so incredibly excited for this game and I still am to some extent, but this has officially hurt that excitement and I wish Nintendo would actually get a brain for once in their existence.
