  5. Very carefully typing out a forum game on this site. I have no idea what that forum game is gonna be though.

  7. So a game was announced that is heavily inspired by The Thing. From what I've read, it is basically The Thing, just not in name. Sounds like an amazing premise. Hope it turns out fine when it releases.

I'm not familiar with The Thing, what is it?

@Floofie The main one that people refer to is the 1982 horror film by John Carpenter. It centers around a group of people trapped at an Antarctic base with a virulent alien being that infects and assimilates other life forms. The movie is incredibly well done in acting, atmosphere and especially for the time, special effects. It is quite grotesque at times as a result and that made me not watch the film fully for many years.

This new game, which the name is escaping me at the moment, sounds like it will almost be a carbon copy of the film in concept, which I am totally down for. There was actually a game based off of the film in 2002 that served as a sequel and it was well received.

Ohh, so the game that was announced is inspired by that movie. That sounds neat!

  8. Seen a few, though specific examples are hard to remember. I do remember a kid getting in a fight with a teacher, that was stressful. I remember that the cops were going to be called but I have noooooooooo idea if that was the case.
  9. 504812 Yo counting pones. It has been a while. What is on the pizza agenda?

  11. Yooooooooooooooo. Welcome to the Pone Zone.
  12. The last one was Paranoia Agent. It was only 13 episodes long but damn what a ride those episodes were. It surprised me at every turn and it did an amazing job at deeply exploring the concept of repressed fear. It also has a great opening that is so simple, yet so eerie. Would recommend it, though it definitely won't be everyone's cup of tea. Beasttars was the one I watched before that. Really wish I could buy it on the Microsoft store because I really enjoyed the first season. Watched it all in one go. The animation is awesome and the premise itself is very fascinating. Very much looking forward to the second season which makes me so damn happy that I finally have another show to look forward to now that AoT is ending.
  13. There should be a nostalgia option to the poll. I don't look at my old posts often, but any time I stumble across one that is at least a few years old, it makes me nostalgic quite a bit. The further back the post, the more nostalgic levels I gain. Sure, in my super early days I might have been a tad cringey because of awkwardness, but that too is something I am nostalgic about simply because I was so new to the show and fandom. Good times.
  14. Is this done in a painted style? It looks really neat. The depth of field in the third image is done so well.
  15. Quite excited for the art that @Lazy Ferret is making for me. :BrightMacContent:Getting confirmation that she is going to do that made my day.

Working on it now. Gonna be a bit of a challenge, but I'm up for it

  16. As my ponysona suggests, I would choose the almighty horn of magical-like magicness. The potential of that magical power seems boundless. Plus, I could poke other pones with it. That's a huge bonus.
  17. Just for future reference, do you happen to take commissions?
  18. I've heard about your art from others around here, saying how good your work is and they definitely were right on that. Just this one image alone convinces me of that.
  19. Mashed potatoes with gravy overall is my top fav. French fries are a so so so close second. So basically, potato. That conquers all.

  21. What would be the opposite term? Cowardly Consumer? That's basically what I am. Often I find that I am simply stuck in my ways, I have a tough time going out of my comfort zones in many ways, food included. I usually stick with what I know, rarely trying something else unless it is something in general that I know I will like anyways, like how I've been trying many different BBQ sauces lately. I doubt I will find one that I truly dislike so that is the closest to a food adventurer as I get.
  22. Absolutely not. HOWEVER, thanks to the air fryer I got for christmas, I have at least felt like a chef sorta. It has been awesome. I am not much of a cook really, I've never been good at it, so I am glad that good technology can help people like me be, well, less cooking inadequate.
  23. I've been an ever so mixed batch of different feelings lately. Of course there's the typical emotional and mental struggles, but aside from those, I've been feeling reflective. As in reflecting on things. Life. Trying to be more positive, trying to enjoy things for what they are and not getting mentally strangled. That's not exactly easy but at the very least the thought process lately has been something I've needed, even if I've done this before. Reflection on good things is really needed sometimes, even if I feel like I am failing at appreciating them fully.
  24. Being someone who has in recent years fallen in love with Wendy's fries and finds their's to be underrated, nothing can top McDonald's in this regard. They are classic, the taste is unmatched in my opinion. Wendy's is a very solid second place though, especially if you like a more "potato-y" taste.
  25. I definitely am depressed if that happens as feeling forgotten isn't exactly an uplifting thing, but then I come to my senses and realize shortly after that my birthday isn't exactly worth celebrating so the shrugs commence.
