Finally got my meds refilled and holy crap I feel a lot better. The withdrawal syndrome of one of the two meds I take is rough.

Bought MK11. Honestly the complaints about the supposed grind doesn't bother me. Why? I've played Black Ops 4, a game that has the absolute worst microtransaction system in a "AAA" game. So MK11 being a grind doesn't concern me much.

Saw Detective Pikachu last night. It is better than it has any right to be. Considering just how terrible the Pokemon show is and how awful all the other movies are in this franchise, Detective Pikachu should have been a disaster, but it was actually pretty fun. Not high art or anything but a fun little adventure.

Celebrity worship is trash. People being so obsessed with some stupid "royal couple" and their stupid kid is both hilarious and sad. A couple that by human design was born with fame and fortune and the common people, in a different country no less, are desperate to lick their shoes. I am pretty cynical about the human race but believe me I have my reasons.

Just found out about ProJared, one of my favorite people on Youtube. Fuck. This is probably going to ruin him and I will now lose another great person to watch on Youtube. Fucking great...My mood has now taken a massive dive.

I don't think it will matter now. His career is destroyed regardless of what happens at this point. He was always one of my favorites because of his passion for gaming, and through someone like him I was able to keep feeling that passion too. Yet, all of these people seem to be going away. I was actually in an okay mood today after days of misery, what a tiny little vacation that was.

Season 3 of Attack On Titan is continuing with sheer magnificance. The first post-hiatus episode had me shaking with excitement by the end. The show has me forever hooked.

Watching a live GT4 race at Brands Hatch. Fun to watch. May race the track in Forza afterwards.

Man, I don't know why I bother with most people. I say one thing to someone and they take it as an apparent insult and they lose their fucking mind. Seriously, what can I say to anyone anymore that doesn't "offend" them or makes them highly scrutinize my words.

That doesn't work - if you try to explain why THEY got it wrong, it just makes them more upset/angry/whatever - its like people saying "just calm down" to someone, which invariably has the opposite effect.
They are now invested in "being hurt" and will be stubborn about it.
Just say you are sorry for upsetting them (which presumably is true, even if their upset isn't reasonable,) that it wasn't how you meant it, and move on.

Black Ops 2 was probably my favorite, but this series is now forever doomed. With BO4, Activision has shown us just how far they are willing to go to get the cash. We're talking $5 emotes, $8 character skins, up to $8 weapon skins and $2 loot boxes and zombies microtransactions too, in a $60 game with a $50 season pass.
