Beating bosses in Sekiro just isn't as satisfying as it is in Dark Souls. Not for me, anyway.

Literally everything about Dark Souls is better. The combat, the variety, the bosses, the pacing, the customization. I am at a boss that I can kill without getting hit once now, but of course she has an entire second phase back to full health and that phase is almost identical to the first one, except now she has unblockable magic things that fire at you. This is trash. This kind of design is absolutely horrible compared to FromSoft's past work. It isn't fun and clearly my skill is not being rewarded, as apparently stabbing the stupid bitch in the throat after widdling her down for 10 minutes isn't enough to kill her. No, we have to have some bullshit second phase that hardly changes anything about fighting her, it just adds in unfair bullshit. Fuck this game.

It might just be me, but Sekiro's difficulty is more annoying than fun like Dark Souls. 

Exactly. I can beat the first Dark Souls no problem, I have done 5 times with 5 different builds WITHOUT using a shield. This game? Beat a boss with no hits taken, then have the boss fight turn into a nightmare with nearly unavoidable projectiles and I simply cannot get past it. If I didn't have to do the retarded first phase every fucking time, then it wouldn't be as bad, but nooooo, FromSoft just has to pad it out as much as possible. What makes this worse, is that just because it is 'hard', everyone is saying it is perfectly fine and well designed. Bull. Shit. Just because something is extremely difficult says nothing about good design. And if I manage to do defeat her, what will my reward be? Worthless shit. Nothing more. In Dark Souls, defeating, say, Ornstein and Smough, one of the most notorious boss fights, gives you access to tons of new places, gives you the teleport, it gets you new armor and weapons, on top of a shitload of guaranteed souls. Sekiro has none of this to give the player for their effort. Maybe one shitty item and that's it. I am close to requesting a refund, this is no longer fun at all. It isn't worth it anymore.

I have those on occasion. It's not too uncommon for me to get confused because I thought something happened for real when it was really just in a dream.

Lucky you. All of my dreams are like that for some reason. Realistic real life type of stuff. It eventually makes me question reality. 

I already said before that it's not meant to be Dark Souls and if you went in expecting that experience than that's on you.

I know it is not meant to be Dark Souls. The design still pales in comparison to the Souls games though.

Gonna have to tie Black Ops 4 with Battlefield V. I’ve got them both and I’ve never felt so disappointed in a game before. I think back to when Bad Company 2 and World at War were my most favourite multiplayer games. 

Battlefield V is actually pretty good in my opinion. It has undeniable quality, even if some might not be into it. Black Ops 4 has terrible maps, terrible gameplay, specialists make no sense, incredibly annoying scorestreaks, boring progression, bad hit detection and the absolute worst monetization I have ever seen in a 'AAA' game. 

Yeah the monetisation baffles me. So many people defend it for some reason. Meanwhile people rip on games that don’t deserve it.

With Battlefield V though, I just find it so underwhelming and empty. Making a sequel to BF1 had to be the easiest thing they could do and they still made a mess with it. I feel like I’m playing an early access game.

Indeed. XD It is this whole Epic Games Store thing. Ever since Fortnite became the most overrated thing ever, they seem to think they can do whatever they want now. Them buying exclusivity to their store on PC is such a dick move to PC gamers. Obsidian's new game will be exclusive to the Epic store for a year. It will also be on the Windows store though because, well, Microsoft owns Obsidian now. But no Steam for a year. I don't game on PC at all, but I still think what they are doing isn't right.

All these PC platforms are a joke. 

I was going to buy a Switch, but I bought a Fluttershy plush instead...
