      In my opinion, returning to see your realitives and your wife's ashes is a bit much to be making a permanant stay there. Of course, it is your native place. If I were in your place, I could imagine me staying in America (for you russia) for maybe half a year at most for the reason of seeing family and loved ones. Of course, you're free to do what ever you want. Just my opinion on the matter.
