    Just had to turn a girl's date proposal down. I am kicking myself, because this girl is pretty and nice, but I simply cannot bring myself to like her in a "lovey-dovey" sort of way. I liked her just fine as a friend.

      I don't see a big deal with friendzoning. Not feeling that connection means there's something between you two that is incompatible. No need to waste time in a relationship if you can see that there's something missing right from the get-go. A bond like that should be a mutual thing, and if 1/2 of the people aren't feeling it, it wouldn't be a good relationship anyway.

      Alfonzo, dating, in this girl's case, implies that we would be intimate, kiss, and possible have sex. I don't desire to do any of that with her. I probably should also mention that I have found another girl that I like more, and who I hope to be intimate with in the future
