Ahh... No more... Have to call it a day. Dangit, I got stuck for HOURS trying to solve a problem, doing something totally complicated only to read the instruction again to see it tell me to do something really simple ;___;

Session ended at 23:42. Let's see what the log book tells me about hours I racked up doing schoolwork today... HOLY MOLY 6:29 hours?!
Sigh... really goes to show how the only way I could really keep up the pace is when I get stuck. Kinda wish that would also happen for when I make progress. Too tempting to take breaks in between "milestones."

So I have an important paper to hand in that's due this friday which could determine the fate of the course for this year. Now I find myself having all of the groundwork done and it's only monday. Wow, a reason to have some optimism for a change.

I think you're going to find this awesome https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sddb0Khx0yA

So, as part of our school project, we had to install the electrical wiring in this shed and I was allowed to take away all the leftover copper wiring. It's going to take me a few more hours to strip all the copper wiring. Aside from some cash to be gained, all that copper will hopefully stay out of landfills.

Normally I'd be very groggy, possibly still in bed at this hour trying to "slowly wake up" but here I am already having had breakfast. (It's almost 8 AM here and class starts in an hour and is less than ten minutes walk)

Hey, Winter. I haven't been showing up on Skype during the day as much lately. How're you doing?
-
Phew. Just came back from doing schoolwork. That session laster over an hour and I'm feeling exhausted yet I know it's in my best interest to get back to work tonight. Times like those makes me want to huddle under someone's wing, hoping it would recharge me and lift my spirits up for the next session.

Well, I myself am kinda clueless about how to "huddle under someone's wing." A problem of expression you could say.
I have an assignment due friday and the stakes are kinda high. It's two strikes you're out and I've already struck once. Given the progress I'm making, it seems like I will finish on time but only if I am unrelenting.

I'm going to need a lot of support in the next 7 days... Going to need to grind hard.

Hello there. How've you been?

Sometimes, a power outage can be a sobering experience.

So tell me, bronies. If there was a concrete, scientific, inter-disciplinary way to reduce the occurrence of violence in a given population, would you or would you not want to know more so that you may contribute to doing just that in your own way? What I think your answer is: probably not -- sounds like something for idealistic eggheads.

Is harmony something one could ever hope to attain without a proper understanding of the nature of violence?

No, people only view violence as a physical thing but physical violence isn't the only form of it and as the saying goes "violence begets violence". Coercion is yet another form of it, with government playing more and more of a role in peoples lives this form of violence is becoming more and more common.

Just how important is it to learn to cope with pain? Be it physical pain or psychological pain.
