  1. If I go a day without coffee, I'll end up with a headache that night. I tend to drink coffee straight -- no milk, no sugar. As for alcohol, I'm on daily meds so I can't take in any alcohol. Lately I've started experimenting with adding spices, if just for their effects. These include turmeric, cinnamon and ginger. As for the taste, it's pretty meh (just like plain coffee) but if it's healthier than straight coffee, I'm down for that.
  2. Depends on whether or not I'm in a hurry to write something down. If I'm not in a hurry, my handwriting is very clear. Even now, I try to tweak my own handwriting since my upper case Ms can sometimes look like Ns or my 1s can look like lower case Ls. Sometimes, the lower case Ns and Us can look alike. When I can, I put in a little extra effort to keep the letter distinguishable.
  3. Honestly, the entire premise hinges on what are perceived to be "masculine" and "feminine" traits. Culture is having such a difficult time adjusting to how the world has changed in one human lifetime that it offers us no answers here. We are basically on our own to figure this out. Maybe now more than ever, consensus on gender roles has been fading away and answers to such a seemingly simple matter become ever more diverse between individuals. We can all agree on what gender roles were in the past but if each of us were to write our own rulebook on the matter, there would be less overlap than there used to be. As for what I think, hard work, responsibility, charisma and pragmatism aren't inherently "masculine" traits. I have a lot of respect for women who can pull those off. I think it's time that we drop emotional vulnerability and expression as an inherently "feminine" traits. To me, the true virtues are practicing rigorous authenticity, surrendering the outcome and doing uncomfortable work and not one of these are masculine nor feminine virtues. They are human virtues.
  4. Beyond Structures and Time - Kammarheit
  5. The Path Back to You - Stars as Lights
  6. If I'm being treated to pizza, I'll scarf just about anything down >.> As long as things don't get too absurd, of course.
  7. Are these really your views or are these just what you think describe the present state of affairs?
  8. Define "girlish" and "boyish". The "-ish" suffix also implies a boundary. When does it become too boyish or girlish?
  9. Slow Dancing In The Dark - Stars as Lights
  10. Waves (The Lighthouse Symphony Part 3) by Alnea. I had the entire album playing before going to sleep and this song is the last one in the album.
  11. This screen name actually predates MLP. It's just that I haven't used it for most of my time in the MLP fanbase. Originally, I made this screen name for a Metroid online community. If there was something that you often find in the Metroid games that really drew me in, it were the ruins of advanced and/or enlightened civilizations. It evoked the sense of wonder and mystery I felt as I took my time treading such environments, particularly in the Metroid Prime Trilogy. These ruins are all remnants of what were thriving societies that were tragically destroyed, whether by the arrogance of its former inhabitants or by a cosmic force they were not prepared to deal with. At the time, I had a pretty morbid fascination with desolation... and I still do. I remember back in the MLP episode The Cutie Re-Mark Part 2 -- this part, specifically: I get an odd sense of peace in these environments. I'm not entirely sure why. It is a morbid peace but still peace. Very often when I look inward, my imagination brings me back to deserts -- often the rocky ones and the sun beats down with a vengeance. Oh and the profile pic? This is what it was originally: As you can see, my current profile pic is basically a remaster. My girlfriend drew that by the way because she's awesome X3 As for what it is, well, that's quite a complicated story but what I personally see in this picture is Ridley's corpse. Lately it has taken something of a new meaning. I myself feel destroyed. This is what I've come back to. I used to think I went in a different direction since MLP came along but I found myself back to where I started.
  12. People who say Molestia is the worst meme make me envious... In case that was too subtle, what I'm getting at is that there's worse. Much worse.
  13. When I was little, I once got stung multiple times on top of my head by wasps. What's funny is that I don't even remember the pain anymore and I'm pretty chill around wasps.
  14. Echoes of A Restless Sea - Parhelion (Kind of a cheap shot, I know...)
  15. Isolated, I succumb to the weight of the world Separated, I fall from the sky Is this death or rebirth? Falling back to the earth
  16. 5/10 - It's OK. It's really not what I'm looking for in a song.
  17. 8/10 - Pretty nice https://humanfactor.bandcamp.com/track/alarm-1202
  18. Kokomo - Ein Dachs Hat Zweifel

It's an instrumental song with a German title by a German band. No lyrics in the song.

  19. Fade away to the wicked world we left And I become the dark of you Say a prayer for the wounded heart within As I become the dark of you Let go When all has come to life, We live, we breathe, we die They call me to the light Forever lost in time With every dream we find We feed, we burn, we lie The fall of humankind The everlasting light
