    I'm just going to keep myself guessing why Sunburst is there. Starlight's going to be there as well. Will be looking forward to how that plays out. Even the characters seem to be treating the whole Alicorn birth thing as something that wasn't supposed to happen for some reason. Curious to see what explanation they give there. And yeah, March 26th is the third next saturday as of this post. The inter-season wait turned out to be shorter than anyone dared to hope. The season finale was in late November, right? If you had told anyone that the wait to season 6 would be only four months, how many would believe you? Heck, even you were taken by surprise at that revelation. Anyway, being someone who tends to take things as they come, I'm not fretting too much. Right now, For me, it'll be the top episodes of season 6 that I'll be looking forward to. There's going to be hits, there's going to be misses but hopefully there's be at least one episode to knock it out of the ballpark. What will Season 6's equivalent of season 5's Do Princesses Dream of Magic Sheep turn out to be?

    So according to you, the brony fandom really is more talented than other fandoms? Are you being serious? It's one thing to say that there are a lot of talented fans but that can easily be attributed to the fandom's size. Indeed it can be quite risky, if not outright foolish, to assume the best in everyone. Best be on your guard with people whether they are bronies or whatever else -- it's really all the same. Says a lot about just how deeply that phrase has fallen from grace. Back in mid 2011 when I was fresh meat a new brony, bronies took that phrase "Love and Tolerance" to heart, even if just implicitly.

    One of the most important things you'll want to get right are the colors. Stick with pastel colors (which are typically high in brightness but medium to low in saturation). If your OC's apperance is pleasant on the eyes, you're on the right track. (Sully and Snow Perch are my best examples.) Can't give much advice on CM unfortunately. As for personality, they need to be relatable in some way. Giving them the most brooding and edgy personality and backstory imaginable won't make them relatable but quite the opposite. A pony, the youngest of three siblings, who can't seem to figure out his place in life despite being 18 who grows only more uneasy as he feels pressured to find a career worthy of his parents sounds a lot more relatable. Although, if you can't get around some dark aspects such as one or more dead parents, make sure it has some relatability or at least seem acceptable. If it's just for the sake of making the character appear edgy then that's just distracting. If you can't get around that either, it may be best to omit these altogether and only have it be bought up when it is absolutely relevant. Having their occupation figured out is important and the more it relates to other aspects of their character, the better as it helps to make them feel consistent and fleshed out. Of course, if they're young, they best go to school. Hope this helps.

    What it was? Practice practice practice. Unfortunately, this falls utterly flat for subjects that are heavy on theory (Telecommunication was a nightmare to study). Somehow I made it through "the hard subjects" that include calculus and statistics but have been struggling with the "easier" subjects. A new method I've been experimenting with is to study the material in such a way that I could give lessons on the material myself. The better I would be able to do this should equate to me having a better understanding of the material at hand. Does seem to be working so far. It also helps to have a lot of exposure to the material. Learning takes time so the more time you are exposed to the material, the more you start to assimilate it. Procrastinating as soon as you get stuck is a sure way to set yourself up for failure.

    The only one I remember vividly was that one nightmare... As my "ponysona" Sunburn, I got pretty brutally murdered by my genderbent counterpart: Erythema. Remember that part in A Canterlot Wedding where Queen Chrysalis disguising as Princess Cadance looked down on Twilight? (No? Then see here.) I still remember how Erythema looked at me before finishing me off. I looked at her at an angle just like that, only her eyes were shaded and her expression was absolutely pitiless. On top of it all, it was in the middle of nowhere with nothing but gravel and rock with the sun beating down at its full strength. I did get mortally wounded in that nightmare but I'm not going to describe how.

    A bit blown away when you hear your US friends talk about how they would expatriate and wear the title of "US refugee" with pride. I really hope they succeed in fleeing the country and start a better life elsewhere.

    My expectations are low. If anything, I'm only expecting to see something new -- something the series hasn't done before. Whether or not it'll get pulled off well remains to be seen.

    From what I gathered so far, we're dealing with programs that can "evolve". IMO, phrasing it as evolution sheds more light on the process rather than saying "learn". Please see the following video for a demonstration. There's an important caveat to consider here. Because we're dealing with programs that evolve over time, generation by generation, it's important to note how evolution itself works. You see, no creature evolved into whatever we see now for nothing. Any and all creature that lived had to be able to survive for long enough to not just reproduce but to have their offspring repeat the process. Failure to do this leads to a very simple result: extinction. What this ends up meaning is that only species that succeed in continuing reproduction can continue to exist. This is why all individual creatures of evolution are seemingly tailored in such a fashion as to facilitate continued reproduction and avoid extinction as best as possible. If that can be done, then it won't matter how a said species gets there. No matter what happens, the goal is to avoid extinction. An AI works in a similar fashion but instead of avoiding extinction, we may instead program AI to evolve and be able to perform other tasks such as controlling a battery and inverter system, letting it know when to charge and discharge and save as much money as it can just to name an example. This being the case, we're more likely to see AI built for specific tasks. It has taken us hundreds of millions of years to evolve brains as complex as what we have all the while being in environments under so many influences within those hundreds of millions of years. So far it's hard to say exactly how evolution has wired us. Furthermore, what function would human robots with artificial human even have aside from showing what technology is capable of? If we're going to use AI for specific roles, such as building control, there really won't be any need to build in a self-preservation and reproductive tendencies, would there? Instead, such an AI would be tailored to its specific role with anything in addition being needless expenditure in labor and resources.

    In one dream I had, I died -- multiple times. All of them were violent deaths. The most interesting one was this lone fruit having from a grayed tree. It literally shot out of the flower that was holding it, revealing this flower to have a mouth with teeth along the rim. That fruit was shot towards my face and out of nowhere it grew tentactes which it used to force its way into my mouth, then went down my throat. I'm pretty sure that thing was as big as a human heart (it also had a vaguely similar shape). It went down my esophagus and when it had reached my stomach, I started to see my flesh slowly disappear from my stomach going out, leaving behind only bones. Soon enough, all that remained of me was a skeleton. As for the scenery, I was what appeared to be in this small clearing in a miscanthus field and the sky was pitch black. The miscanthus had very dark colors.
