Well, speaking objectively, the only purpose of life is to propagate itself, but...

Well, on that note, I once stumbled out into traffic, piss drunk, and hit a car. Lucky the car didn't hit me.

Yes, but not how they lived.

Back in high school, I shared an apartment with a couple of guys who had no sense of cleanliness or personal hygiene. They were the sort of people who thought deodorant was an acceptable replacement for showering, and even thought I vacuumed my own room every three or four days, they tracked so much shit in there it ended up on my floor anyway. Honestly, I think that arrangement turned me into the slob I am today.
When I moved out of there after half a semester, their mother had the temerity to approach me and suggest that I stay and we share the cost of hiring a cleaning firm.
Somehow, though, we managed to stay friends for a good while after that.

Bruce Lee had a ruptured disk in his 20s and died at 32 from a painkiller. Chuck Norris is still alive (for now), so I'd rather be him.
Kim Kardashian or Kim Jong Un?

I've got about -15k, if you count college debts.
Ah, college was a mistake...

Holing up in the basement or at a friend's house and playing multiplayer video games. Occasionally, I'll sit around and feel nostalgic about a general era in my life - a few times a decade, I take a walk past my old school and think about what life was like. It was pretty miserable, but it had its points.

Quite nice, but do you have one in a higher resolution?

Well, my favourite parts of any kind of art are a sense of dynamic movement and interesting expressions.

I think I've heard that name somewhere, uh... I'd have to say I'd never catch the reference.

I know I do. I watched the show from season one, and even then, I only thought the show was shockingly good for what it was, and compared to other cartoons at the time. Even so, in later years I've often caught myself expecting far too much from it. Honestly, even now I can't help but hope that the next generation has decent worldbuilding and consistent characters.

I'm 29, and while I'd love to have a good relationship, I've never found anyone I think would work out. My requirements are too far out of the norm, and my priorities too different from those of most people, not to mention the fact that I don't have a whole lot to offer. I was 20 years old before I'd gotten the hang of acting like a half-decent human being, and by then I was already out of any system within which I might have randomly met a decent girl. Nowadays my job effectively prevents me from meeting women during the day, and my reclusive lifestyle prevents it during my free time - not to mention that the sort of people who hang around in bars aren't really my kind of people - so I don't foresee any romance in my near future.
But I guess there's still time. And if not, oh well, you do what you can. It always seemed to me that that head-over-heels teenage love was the best kind, anyway, and that window has long since closed. There's too much pressure on older people to be all blasé about love, I think.

Yes. I pop my own in a huge saucepan with real butter. It's the only way to go.
I'm not a fan of movie popcorn or microwave popcorn.

Some fantastic pieces this time around. Congratulations to the winners.

I get sappy and loud and hungry. All in all, it's not that great, but it's good for relaxing when the stresses of life are starting to get to ya.

I think in English quite often.

Yes, my sister is a crazy feminist and my brother is a morose musician.

I dunno, all those Manehattanites could give her a run for her money.

I've managed to be born in an era where there's advanced medical science, high-speed internet access, widespread secularization, and so far, China hasn't taken over the world and the 1% are only part-way to eradicating the middle class. Call me a pessimist, but it might never get better than this.

From weakness of the mind, Omnissiah save us,from the lies of the Antipath, circuit preserve us,from the rage of the Beast, iron protect us,from the temptations of the flesh, silica cleanse us,from the ravages of time, anima shield us,from this rotting cage of biomatter,Machine god, set us free. What I'm saying is, the flesh is weak. I'd be a brain in a jar if it meant I could dick around and play video games for the rest of eternity.

I usually don't have a problem with this, and I find that Google has only improved with time. While I'm sure search engine optimization can cause the sort of problems you describe, I feel like most top Google results don't get there by optimizing, but by paying Google directly.
The one thing that has been completely ruined in later years, though, is image search. Every image search is dominated by results from Pinterest, in which I am completely unpinterested. That site needs to go.

It comes with a screen.
Yeah, but I'm sitting here breaking my neck, trying to make out what's going on in the game while there's a perfectly good 50'' TV sitting unused in a corner. T_T

Yesterday I bought a Switch, with Smash, Mario Party, Mario Kart, Odyssey and Breath of the Wild. Sadly, I don't have any furtiture to prop up the TV, so I'm highly limited in playing it for the moment.

Pfff, as if MLP is the weirdest thing I'm into.
